December K-1 2009 Filers VSC

Hey guys! I have a question. VSC already cashed my check (the day after they got my 129F packet!) but haven't received a NOA1 via email or anything. Is that weird? Could it mean they misspelled my email?

In general it seems that the amount of time people wait to receive a NOA1 doesn't have any bearing on the NOA2 receipt date.... is that true?

Hey there. I also got my check cashed but havent received an NOA1. I think its normal I am sure you will receive yours soon. By the way , if you check your online banking and you have a way to see the scanned checks then you can view the backside of the check and see the receipt number. This number allows you to follow your case :-)

Ok everyone... last but not least add me to the k1 December filers.... maybe I'm the last one of the year lol!!!! Just sent my I-129F off on 12/22/09. Sad I probably have to wait till January for them to do anything with it. Oh well I'm just glad to have sent it off already. Wish me luck guys!!!

Going batsh*t crazy already with the waiting, both of us

We are really hoping for a 13-June-09 wedding (our 1 year anniversary), but whatever happens, happens.

I am sort of surprised to see that VSC is "supposedly" processing our cases in about 2 months now. I don't think I've ever seen timelines like that.

Good luck to everyone and I wish everyone a speedy processing and visa approvals.

I'm a bit surprised to see that, too, Мартышк+Мартышка.

At the time of waiting for NOA2, I was getting quite frustrated seeing so many people get approved in 4 months. It's hard to have filed, then see people who filed 2 months after you get NOA2 when you haven't. But looking back, that was the best thing to happen, as I knew I wanted to get married during the week of Thanksgiving. If our process had moved any faster, a Thanksgiving wedding wouldn't have been feasible.

Also, had our case been approved in only 2 months, we wouldn't have had all the rest of forms/items done (vaccinations, certificate of no impediment, police record, etc) as things can move slowly in my husband's home country.

I even had time to prepare for AOS paperwork while waiting for the NOA2.

This reply was based on the word SUPPOSEDLY...The poster saw a few filers from Sept. and October and posted that opinion.. Forget about 2 months that was only for a lucky few. Expect your wait to be 5 months at least because the holidays cut in and added a few weeks more to everybody's wait. They will not be moving again for a couple of weeks we all hope. VSC is starting to take longer again... Just look at November 2009 VSC. nobody has moved an inch. and they are going into the 2nd. month.. Do not believe anything you read on Igors list either as many do not update their timeline and this is a Berkley U estimate and has nothing to do with USCIS.. These are the Facts.. Get ready to wait again.. I am also waiting as I was one of the first to get the NOA-1 on 12-01-09..........

well got my NOA1 hard copy in the mail today, 2 weeks exactly after i sent it. The date of action was 3 days after i sent. Hopefully the processing times aren't going to slow down too much, VSC has been turning them around in 2 months or so lately. Lets keep it up guys.

Nearly the end of December already, I actually can't believe how fast its gone, although that may change when i have to go back home mid Jan.

I luckily got a bit of news yesterday that will help my wait as my family is now looking forward to the arrival of a new baby in July

Well just wanted to wish everyone here a Happy new year, that will hopefully bring alot of great news as well as some changes for the better in terms of finally being able to be reunited for good with our loved one.

Good Luck to all of the December filers! This process is frustrating but I know in the end it will be all worth it-the waiting SUCKS!

Feb-09 introduced and started talking online

May-09 I visited the UK

July-09 Adam visited Colorado

Oct-09 Adam visited Colorado

12-1-09 mailed I-129 paperwork

12-4-09 packet received by CSC

12-8-09 check cashed

12-11-09 received NOA1 hard copy

Currently it looks like CSC is processing in 5 months so we're HOPING Adam is here by April or May-fingers crossed.
