I think your "captain" got the joke. It was in response to some posts bashing us for being happy of our touches/approvals.

If you find me a quote bashing anyone for their approvals, I'll leave these boards.

That was the big difference, is that no one here b!tches about a January filer being approved, for example. Things just happen.

Hear, hear Capt...I agree. We are all on the same voyage, but on different ships. Now that we have blown off steam, it is time to open our arms and welcome our fellow brothers and sisters on this journey. This journey is too stressful for us to bicker at each other.

You have always been one of the most positive persons of the Nov. filers. Our comments have not been directed to you, but to those that the shoe fits. We understand what you are experiencing because it has happened to us. Mid Dec. and Jan. filers approved before us...we don't like it, but what can we do? We just deal with it.

I am very happy that you rec'd your NOA2. CONGRATS and good luck with the rest of your voyage!!!

I am going to step in and state that many of the posts and comments I have just read here ridiculing those individuals who are posting in the November K-1 thread border on personal attacks and baiting. While not directly TOS violations they are very much contrary to the spirit of Visa Journey - to offer a supportive, informative forum in which to share personal experiences and support each other through our immigration journeys for all users, not just a select few. Making fun of others and gloating because you aren't so stressed out from waiting as theys are in no way makes you 'better' than them. Some of the comments I have read here are akin to grinding salt into open wounds.

So, instead of comparing yourselves to others and patting yourselves on the back about how much better you are than they, why not practice a bit of compassion? This is a long journey - you are at the beginning of it - but this is the part that will feel the longest no matter how long your eventual journey becomes. If you cannot say something supportive and positive about others who are waiting for their approvals, then just don't say anything at all.

You never really build yourself up when you do it at the expense of other people.
