I'm new here...and I've been using this site to while I prepared my I-129f for my fiance who lives in the Dominican Republic.

I mailed my packet off on Dec 2nd 2009 and they received it Dec 3rd 2009. My check wad cashed on Dec 7th 2009.

Im just waiting for my NOA1.

Best wishes to everyone and Im praying for good news all the way for all of us!!!

Good News!!! I just received my NOA1 today. Now just have to wait an undetermined time for my NOA2.

Still praying!!!!

No not at that stage yet, i think they are sent to the embassy when you get packet 3/4 just before the interview

Just wondering how to check status of NOA1 online, maybe i am missing something here. Thanks in advance.

When your check has been cashed you should have a 13 digit number on the back starting with EAC, go to the USCIS website and look under check status. You can do a quick look just by putting in you EAC number or alternatively you can sign up for a profile and add your case to that allowing you to get text and email update. Hope this makes sense

Hi Congratulations..Question for you..did you send in these 3 forms with your I 129 DS -156 DS -157 DS -157K...

At some embassies, you'll need to send those in before they schedule your interview.

At others, you'll just need to bring them with you to the interview.

I believe you have to put your fiance's A# on them, which doesn't get assigned until after you file the I-129F, so you can't fill them out yet.

But it doesn't hurt to already have them mostly completed in advance of the interview. The more you do now, the less you do later!

Hey guys! I have a question. VSC already cashed my check (the day after they got my 129F packet!) but haven't received a NOA1 via email or anything. Is that weird? Could it mean they misspelled my email?

In general it seems that the amount of time people wait to receive a NOA1 doesn't have any bearing on the NOA2 receipt date.... is that true?
