Ok, bold thing #1: F the lawyer. They are mostly retarded. I made a mistake going with one... They are no help, whatsoever. (I went with one because I found the site AFTER I submitted our petition)

Bold thing#2: We cope with daily chats and webcams. Daily. Also heavy drinking at times helps.

Also, I found that a good coping strategy is to think of a new day as a one day closer to being together, because in the end, that's the only thing that is true and can be counted on.

Do not set expectations for NOA-2, because when they are not met, you will be crushed (trust me, talking from experience)

If you need anything, post here or on RUB boards (we tend to be more evil and sardonic there though, so take us with a grain of salt).

At least our attorney's wife is Russian and she will help prepare Irina for her interview because Irina's English is not perfect. We also speak by phone daily for several hours and we exchange SMS messages daily too. We exchange emails every day...on Saturdays and Sundays we meet via video for several hours each day too. We would meet more often with video, but she is 11 hours ahead of me and our days and nights are opposite unfortunately.

None of us were heavy drinkers till we started reading these forums/posts.. [Especially Nov.09 VSC]....I cannot speak for all of the crew, but you will share a bottle of rum with your mates sooner or later !!! arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :lol:

More approvals in the october thread today....nice to see VSC moving along at a steady pace now :)

I have marked my 5 months mark on the calander today works out to be May 12th, its crazy how long away that it seems to be, but i have a focus on that date now and anything before that is just fine with me and the other half....either way i am busy saving for the rest of the visa fees now that i am actually employed again and a trip out to oklahoma for a friends wedding in June. Man how i would have loved for that to be my final flight for a while but alas i have come to terms with the fact i'll be coming back to england after the wedding :(.

Another one here who doesn't drink instead I am using excerise as my drink (seeing as i haven't touched a drop in three years) i find jumping on the cross trainer helps with the stress and moves my focus.
