December K-1 2009 Filers VSC

Sorry I'm a bit slow, didn't have my full cup-o-joe yet.. What's going on with the VSC being aware of something? Aware that folks are getting anxious??

They compiled a spreadsheet of all K-1 petitions submitted per day for various days and some dumba$$ sent that data to their senator.

Problem with that is.....you are technically not allowed to look up other people's cases on USCIS website.

So that's what VSC is being aware of.

Also, it's funny, every day there's a "omg i've been waiting so long i'm going insane" November filer's thread.

Some people in here are coming up on 3 months already too, but I've yet to see anyone here freak out. I'm also pretty sure that come April we'll start seeing approvals here

Just noticed that the thread starter for Nov. VSC 2009 has changed her name from Megger to that -girl ... I gusess they are trying to hide from the mistakes other posters made on that thread..Obviously they can't get it deleted. Did they really think they could do that?

How the hell did she change her name on the account? I did not think this was possible.. Not that I want to do that.. I like being Panama Jack....

Ahhhh, thank you "Oh Captain, My Captain.." Didn't realize all the drama that the November peeps are stirring up.

At least today whizzed by pretty fast don't you think? I have spent the past two days doing some side work for a local small business. We upgraded their whole network from Windows XP to Windows 7.. It would have gone a bit smoother if all of their applications were compatible.. Oh well, a little extra coin in the pocket and two days further into the process.. To be honest, my countdown is really for May 1st for when I go visit my fiancee.. We're going to meet up in Manila and then take a side excursion to Bohol, then fly back to see her folks.. Every day gone by is another day closer to being together..

I love popping into this thread & reading how the VSC K1's are going...the positive attitudes make it much better. I have seen some of the other threads descend into back biting etc over a process that none of us have control over...sure we could all get angry at others jumping ahead in approval but what does it achieve in the long run? Not a darn thing!

So hold your heads high Dec VSC you guys are awesome!

We run a tight ship here.. Our Captain has many years experience so we can sail all over the other threads with ease.....

We don't get angry.............. We just have another drink or 2 or 3 !!!

Yeah...some of the Nov. filers received their NOA1 only 1-2 weeks before us, but to them it is 1 month. Therefore, we couldn't possibly know what they are experiencing. Whether you have been waiting 3 months or 2.5 months, it's still hard to wait.

Thanks goodness VSC is starting to approve Nov. filers, so we're just around the corner. GO VSC!!!

Waiting is waiting, its so hard but the more positive we are now the easier it will be. Keep up the good mood everyone!!!!!

I cope by staying busy and daily contact with the SO, yesterday was a really hard day, with missing him and he has only been gone for less then a week, but i got through it and i feel so much better for it today

Daily communications is key for us.. Keeps us going.. We also don't use the webcam every day so that when we do it's a nice surprise to see each other's faces. She loves Yahoo Messenger but I prefer Skype.. I log all chats so we can print them off before she goes for her interview..

You really don't need to print out every chat. If I had to print out every chat....damn.... it'd be 4-5 boxes full (every day for 8 months now).

Do like 1-2 from every month, and then print out the log of all chats itself (I use google, so it's easier, I just group our chats in 1 label and print from there. It shows date and number of lines).

It's always the hardest after you leave your SO, but it gets a little easier each day. Some day we won't have to worry about leaving our SO...we will be with our loved one for ever. That will be such a great feeling!!!

We use MSN and Skye when MSN is being a pain in the neck. We have saved all chat logs and I have printed 3 random ones from each month for the last 12 months as well as the Skype logs. Also printing out some of the emails from over the time as well. I have it all in a binder folder tabbed so that the Interviewer can see them easily.

keeping things for interview evidence we just save our skype history, as alex was able to find a program online that when he installed it on our comps all we need to do is open up skype hit this program key and in 5 secs you have your skype call history in a pdf file, showing all our calls to each other, i wont be adding chat logs as we do voice contact mainly, due to the fact that when we are able to talk its 12:30am my time and i am shatterd so typing is out of the question. I get to see him while snuggled up in bed and i dont have to think when talking, hearing his voice is the perfect end to any day.

we do however keep up with emails, facebook messages which we use like texting as we both open them for our phones but with the advantage of keeping costs down, a tonne od photos and three lots of boarding passes from aug 09 to feb 2010 so i'm sure we will be ok.

good news with the nov filers getting approvals through now, at least we can see VSC working again lol, just think 5 weeks and we could soon start seeing them...wishful thinking lol
