I just looked out the window and here it comes..[the snow] wasn't even an hour..........Damn this white stuff !!!!!!!!!!!!

Going out to throw some rocksalt around my car so it is not so bad for me in the AM.........I wanna move to Florida.!!! Or to Texas where Matt is....

Relatively speaking, Florida is cold also. Orlando hasn't been in the 70's for 2 weeks...not cold by your standards, but cold for floridians. I know...you would love to have 60 degree weather without snow, but we are accustomed to 70's this time of year. We look forward to winter to get a break from 4 months of 90+ degree weather everyday. Hope the weather warms up for you pronto.

HI All-

I have not posted to this topic before but I got my approval...Petition was approved 02/12/10. Received text and email today from Vermont Service Center..At least the text alert does work!!! Quite schocked when I got the text and email this morning..

I did not expect to get approved so soon and was resigned to the fact that itwould probably take at least 4 months..

I am excited but not prepared..

No news on the NOA2 yet but congrates to all those that have already had them and good luck for the interview.

I have just had my SO over for a week (dang American holiday policy and him only been able to get 12 days of holiday a year) well after nearly a year of dating he finally met my mum and brother to got their blessing so on Feb 14th (my bday as well as valentines day) he offically asked me to marry him in front of all my family while we were out for dinner...I had no idea he was planning it, and it meant so much to me that he took the time to get it sorted out with them, even though he hardly knew them.

We already put in our visa paperwork back in december after talking about it and because we know how long the process can take, being offically engaged now just seems like i am living a dream, one i never want to wake up from.

Anyway just wanted to share my news with the rest of the dec filers

Thanks! That thread was a wealth of knowledge. It really puts everything into perspective and now I realize how VSC works.

Looks like I-129F petitions are on hold until they catch up with other petitions. Oh well, whatcha going to do?

Man, you really PISSED OFF the November filers...especially Chris P. I didn't realize that we Dec. filers cannot post in their thread. They are soooooo uptight...I hope we don't act like them after 3 months of waiting. Well, leave them alone and let them roll in misery together. I laugh when I read about them bitching and complaining about wait times and hey, they were approved before me. Boo hoo

LOL, I suppose we'd feel the same if a couple January filers got approved first.. The Igor's list stats must be broken because it looks like the VSC has been out to lunch since Christmas.. Fingers crossed for an approval before April.. :-)

I've been designated as your Team Captain, so I won't let you become as irrate and crazy as November filers did.

It has always happened. People will be approved before you. People who submitted 3 months after you will be approved before you, such is life, and such is this process.

DO NOT compare your timelines to anyone else's. It only leads to frustration and envy.

Do not let yourself be dragged into this cesspool of crybabies and constant b!tching and moaning.

You will be with your loved ones. It's just going to be in due time.

I am just like you. Waiting (yes, impatiently). So I am in no different situation than any other here waiting for NOA2.

I just ask one thing of you - do not panic and create the crazy environment November people have created on these boards.

I understand it is hard, but supporting each other helps a lot and goes a long way.

Couple of months from now, all of us will look at this thread as history. All of us will be approved and on our marry way of living our lives with our wives and husbands.

Count off one day at a time. Think of it this way. Tomorrow it will have been one day less of waiting.

I have been reading the nonsense they have been posting since it started. I do not think in the History of this website has there beeen as such stressed our and jealous bunch as these folks.. Man even my meds could not help them . They would need an IV line inserted into some of them pumpig demoral or good stuff like that to calm then down..

So I be chillin mon as I just gets home from work.YA !!! de Da !! LOL ....... December people are COOL Calm and willing to accepth the things we can't change.. Mabye thats why we are going ahead of the Nov. team. ......Lets see who we can piss off next !!

Its reading tthreads in this group that keeps me motivated, why moan about something we can not change!!!!! also figure this the more we accept the situation we are in the quicker time will go, its been 2 months already and it still feels like just last week that we were in CVS getting our passport photos done ready for him to post the file on.

I drove myself crazy waiting for that NOA1, and that was just a week so i vowed i wouldn't be like that with the NOA2. i just keep myself busy and set other targets that i am able to look forward to.

who has the harder wait?? the one in the States or the one elsewhere?? I guess the wait sucks no matter which you are but i guess that being the one moving I can keep myself busy by spending as much time with family and friend here, doing stuff I have wanted to do in England but not gotten round to it, going through my stuff and working as hard as i can to put money away for the rest of the visa and wedding stuff

I noticed one thing about the Nov. filers, they do not acknowledge any comments from other filers only Nov. filers. It's like they created their own little club and only Nov. filers can join. One person on their thread posted this comment, "Ok I have got a question. We have now managed to collect quite a snapshot of how USCIS works. Yes we cant make head nor tail of their practices and procedures but it does show there are quite major descrepencies in processing in date order.

What are we going to do with the information?

Is it just a coping mechanism for waiting or will there be any practical use for it. Does it get sent the White House to help them see another issue with a broken immigration system. Does it get sent to congressmen etc " My question exactly, what are they going to do with this info and do they really think that it will help? As PJ stated, accept things that we cannot change. Nov. needs to heed your advice, because what they are doing is pointless and will not speed up their approval. Oh well, if it allows them to cope with the stress of waiting then so be it. Although, their ranting posts are entertaining to read.
