Top top it all off...12-20" projected here Tuesday-Wednesday, so yeah, FUN.

As far as the waiting time goes.... we were just hoping for NOA2 around early April (4 months), so that the interview can be done by mid-May (Kiev is fast in turning around the interviews).

All in all, I'm going back to the "team_captain_chill_mode". It is extremely hard to wait, but it's been two months already, so we are almost halfway there (I have trust in VSC to turn this around in 5 months).

I say in mid-March we'll start seeing "congrats" posts on this thread

Looks like we both have the same expectations from VSC...NOA2 by late March or early April and interview in May.

When I first filed, I was not in any hurry because it took my friend four months to receive his NOA2 in Nov. '08. After reading the Oct. and Nov. '09 VSC threads, I found myself getting caught up in the emotional frenzy. I would tell myself to calm down and to realize that I have a long wait. I hope the next two months go as fast as the last two.

We just got our NOA 2!!!! this is ridiculous, it's only been 37 DAYS!!!!!! go VSC!!!! =) =)

OMG! We sent ours two days after you and recieved NOA1 one day after you!

I am speechless, and watching their website like a hawk!

I have not posted to this topic before but I got my approval...Petition was approved 02/12/10. Received text and email today from Vermont Service Center..At least the text alert does work!!! Quite schocked when I got the text and email this morning..

I did not expect to get approved so soon and was resigned to the fact that itwould probably take at least 4 months..

I am excited but not prepared..

Did everyone notice that a January filer was approved on 2/12/10? The remaining October and November filers will go crazy when they see this. It would be really helpful if we had some kind of a contact at VSC to explain why January and December filers are being approved before Oct. and Nov. Their approval process makes absolutely no sense at all. I don't mind waiting my turn, but I would be upset if I waited 3-4 months and Feb. and March filers were approved before me.

If you keep in contact with your family here they can tell you it has really sucked here in NJ.. Last wednesday I could not even get to my job and the schools were closed for 2 days.. Philidelphia got hammered more than we did....Mapt. is probably as tired of all this ####### as I am...

Yeah we have been intouch with my family up there and they are saying the same things you are saying, lol!! Its been unusually cold here in Texas for this long and we are all tired of it here as well. However we of course are not buried in the snow. Hope the snow doesnt slow down VSC for anyone filing there!!!

As strange as it sounds they [VSC] haven't been getting anything ! all the snow comes down between Washington DC and New York City area...Go figure...We are getting their weather...

We are not really upbeat, more like we understand there's nothing we can do, so no point going apesh!t. All petitions are different. It's always been that way, that some months get approved before the others. Comparing timelines leads to envy and frustration.

I'm just trying to be (as PJ put it) a "team captain" here and not let anyone fall into the pattern of going crazy over someone else being approved before them

I just looked out the window and here it comes..[the snow] wasn't even an hour..........Damn this white stuff !!!!!!!!!!!!

Going out to throw some rocksalt around my car so it is not so bad for me in the AM.........I wanna move to Florida.!!! Or to Texas where Matt is....
