i wish they would get rid of that feature, lol

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

I have to question whether many people actually read responses? I don't think it's really necessary if it's an opinion question - but if it's a question question and you just plunge to the end of the thread or if you are the OP and don't bother to read the answers, why bother posting?

That's not really directed at you hyper, just in general

I've been posting about the wait times in response to Hyper since he/she had been waiting only 2 weeks. They don't bother to read the responses posted and just continues on posting the same thing, over and over again.

Hyper's interview:

H: So...will I get my visa? Will I?

CO: Uh...I have to ask you some questions.

H: Does this mean I'm approved?

CO: Hold on, first you have to tell me...

H: Tell you what? Am I approvable? Am I?

CO: Sir...calm down. Can you tell me how you met your spouse.

H: If I answer do I get my visa? Do I?

CO: Answer the question please.

H: How much longer is this going to take?

CO: Okay, I can tell you're not serious about this process. Please come back once you are prepared.

H: So...do I grab my visa on the way out?

That's just mean Wyatt
