by the way did you asked/request the consul to get your visa expedite?

Hi, after the consul told me that my visa was approved... I ask the consul if i can pick up my visa and he did not ask any question to me why i want to pick up my visa, he just say yes and get a slip to note that i am going to pick up my visa and the consul told me by Monday my visa is already ready to get in the embassy just wait for the call what time i need to go there.

Hi to my vj family. My visa got approved today and my interview went very smooth... the consul ask only 2 questions to me, My name and my husband's name and he just look in my CEMAR. The pre-screener do the same question what the consul ask me. The consul allow me to pick-up my visa and he said I can get it by Monday just wait for the call so i know what time i can get it in the embassy. I am very thankful that i found vj... it is a big help to me. And I found new friend here. Thank you also lovely Anna L.

Im just curious if you submitted a written request to the consulate officer to pick up your visa or you just asked verbally. My daughter will hopefully have her interview next month and we are hoping she can travel with us to the States on our scheduled flight so we plan to request for a visa pick-up. Your reply will be of great help. Thanks in advance and best wishes !!

I just ask verbally to the consul and he allow me. Good luck to your daughter's interview.

Hi Anna! Congratulations! Finally! you are going to be with your hubby in almost 2 weeks time, w0w! My son's visa was also approved yesterday and he did great during his interview! I'm glad the CO was very nice and he did the interview in tagalog. Thank God!

First, sincere congratulations on your approval. FWIW, there was never a doubt that your approval would happen.

I think in 2010 Anna & I (with Gabby in tow of course) shall have to fly to NY for a visit unless you & your hubby want to visit the "Windy City" of Chicago ;-)

Visa pick up is allowed by USEM.Just tell the Co b4 ur interview that u want ur visa picked up. Thats what i did. I picked up my son's CRBA and visa the same day i had my flight since i was from the province.
