Montreal Interview Documents to Bring

Hey guys, I'm interviewing in january too. For my list, everything is marked Accepted and Received. Basically? They have asked me to bring nothing save for my passport.

I am going to bring my interview binder that has an exact duplicate of every bit of paper we've even sent them plus all our proof of bonefide marriage.

I am also thinking of bringing an extra passport picture or two. and the Xpress envelope that they use to mail back my passport and stuff.

Yeah, they've asked me for nothing and so I'm thinking that I'm not going to bother bringing in yet another set of originals when fact, they should be giving us back our originals?

PS. I got two Police certs when I got mine done in July, it was only 6$ more so I'll also have an original of that too. I have a copy of the AOS and the DS230 and a copy of all the tax papers and paystubs and stuff that my husband sent in. Like I said, an exact duplicate of all that they received from us....

Anyone else do the medical yet? I have mine on MOnday and I'm actually really nervous about it.

Lgg - congrats on the interview! You need 2 passport pictures for the interview. Some people didn't have those passport pictures taken up, I on the other hand did. We also brought current pay stubs (which were asked for).

Don't be nervous about the medical. It's a bit like an assembly line but everyone is really nice and professional

DId you need the new passport pics you took? I just find it a little nuts. i sent it 2, I have 3 for the medical -- how many damn pics do they need?

I'll bring them but geez, they're not cheap!!!!

Yes, they asked for mine. OBX got to choose which ones she wanted - the ones sent in with the DS230 or the ones she had with her. Better safe than sorry.

^^Yup, they let me pick the prettiest ones. I had mine taken at Shopper's Drug Mart and they were only $9.95 for two. Sure it was a pain to get MORE pictures but I wasn't taking any chances.

As far paper work goes canadian_wife is correct (as always ) Originals are not required but I came overly prepared with duplicate originals, copies of those originals as well as copies of all forms we had submitted (in duplicate.) A bit of overkill for sure but by that point I didn't want any surprises. Good luck!

I had my Interview Dec 09 and although I could see both my pic's in front of them, they still asked for two more, along with they wanted to see my "other" orginal police cert. (looked at it and handed it back) I took orginal duplicate's of everything (just incase)

The medical is a breeze, gd luck lgg.
