Well, here I am at last - after 7 months since we filed the I-129F. :luv:

I gotta say POE was easy peasy - they asked me no questions (lol replay of my visa interview there) - and it took 5 mins. Can you say 'big let down'? :lol:

The only hiccup was the flight out was delayed 2 hours but other than that I guess I had a 'textbook' arrival.

No welcome to America tho - but the guy DID say 'have a good day now' so maybe that's the southern equivalent of it :D

Me and the small person (that's my daughter not Len, lol) are settling in pretty well at the moment - we're off to pick up my wedding set soon, and we're fixing on getting married maybe the coming week (no date yet, lol - we need to get a license first). Also my mum is flying in on tuesday. Her first flight since about 1956 when she flew a whole 2 hours to Jersey :lol:

I'll update my timeline thingy when we DO have a wedding date!

Met online 2001 - just aquaintances

Sept 2002 - 1st US visit - everything goes perfectly.

Dec 20th - Forms recev'd at CSC

Dec 27th - NOA1 received by snail mail!

Dec 29th - 'Touched'

March 10 2006 - NOA2!

March 23 - recv'd at NVC

March 24 - petition sent to London

April 9th - Pkt 3 rec'd!

May 17th - Pkt 3 signed for at London Embassy

May 24th - Medical

May24th - Pkt 4

June 14th - Interview 10am - APPROVED 1pm!!

June 16th - Visas received in my hot little hands 1pm :)

July 19th - flying to US!

July 27th - Married!! :-)

Aug 7th - Applied for SSN in married name

Aug 9th - SSN received

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

If you go to the magistrate's office there, make sure he locks the doors so Len can't bolt ;)

Oh, and don't be surprised if when you're flling out the forms for the marriage license they list you as a whole different race :wacko: They did when we got ours. Apparently "Canadian" is a race now. I imagine English is as well ;)

divorced - April 2010 moved back to Ontario May 2010 and surrendered green card

8/17/06 - Korean Consulate rec'd Petition

8/23/06 - rec'd packet 3 from Consulate

8/25/06 - sent packet 3 back to Consulate

8/27/06 - got confirmation email from Consulate, they rec'd packet three

8/27/06 - requested interview date via Consulate internet site.

9/1/06 - Checked internet site for interveiw date, it was there

9/25/06 - Interview date - APPROVED

1/6/07 - leaving for USA

1/20/07 - Wedding Date

3/21/07 - Checks Cashed and Case Status online

3/24/07 - NOA1 Rec'd for AOS and EAD

3/27/07 - rec'd Biometrics appt letter - scheduled for 4/20/07 @ 11:00am

4/02/07 - "touched"

4/20/07 - had biometrics appt.

4/21/07 - rec'd letter stating case was transferred to CSC

5/22/07 - rec'd Case Pending at CSC email

6/25/07 - EAD card production ordered

7/7/07 - EAD "touched"

7/7/07 - AOS "touched"

8-6-07 - Rec'd EAD Card in the Mail

5-20-08 - AOS INTERVIEW - APPROVED - PASSPORT STAMPED

7-2-10 - Received 10 year green card in mail

Life long Texan, living in Hull, UK. How did this happen?

11 January - We met online and became friends

4 February - Became a couple

17 March - I went to Hull to meet the guy

20 March - First "I love you"

25 March - I go home :(

16 November - He comes to visit me in Texas

25 November - he leaves back home :(

14 December - ENGAGED! <3

1 March- I fly off to see my babe in Hull

4 April - I go home :(

9 October - He comes back to Texas!!!!

13 October - WEDDING!!!

22 October - He goes back to England and I continue to wait for my settlement visa.

13 December 2007 - Move to England

Now the wait begins, I will become a citizen then we will DFC back to the US.
