I was trying to search, and I'm not sure what i'm looking for anyway.....

Our plan is for me to fly out for her interview, and also to fly back with her when she comes to the US.

Are these 2 different trips, or is she free to come here once she gets embassy approval?

I know I'm getting ahead of myself as we have not yet filed the I-129, but I'm trying to wrap my head around the big picture from the start.

We hope to file the I-129 in the next week or so, we are just waiting on a correction on her NSO.

Thank you!

normally if you get the approval she will have visa in hand (normally has to be delivered by air21 in the PI) within a week...sometimes longer...up to 2 weeks....but she cannot leave once the embassy tells her she is good. They take her passport and attach the visa in it and send it out.

Philippines Govt. will make her do CFO Seminar and get a stamp before she can board a plane and leave PI.

Kinda like the old communist Russia

I don't think there is an expiration on CFO, I could be wrong... you will just need to make 2 trips.

Go ahead and file your I-129F. You will have a lot of time before its approved. Use this time for your girl to get all the papers she needs. Birth Cert, NBI, CENOMAR, spelling corrections, etc....

You also have a lot of papers you need to also get completed... IRS 1040's, W2's, 1099's, I-134, I-156(K)(157), Letter of Intent to Marry( with original signatures ) .... etc...

Use these tasks to keep both of you busy and sane...

My wife's CFO Seminar experience wasn't bad. She said they basically reviewed the POE Entry Requirements and informed her of the Removal of Conditions procedure and basic stuff like that. None of the Kano Devil lecture that we'd been warned of, maybe it's different for K1s as we were already married and went the Cr1 route.
