Hi, everyone.

I'm totally confused right now. I hope you guys can shed some light for me.

I just found out that my Fiancee's KTP is not originated in Surabaya, but from city of Gresik.

Even though Gresik and Surabaya are next to each other, they are still different city :(

The fact is that she never lived in Gresik , I guess it's only her paperwork was done in that city when she was little, and whenever she renews her KTP she kept using the address in Gresik. Her Birth certificate indicates she was born in city of Surabaya.

Now here's the problem......

She's currently renewing her passport, and her passport would have the address in Gresik instead of Surabaya.

Now all the application that we filled for K1 VISA has the address in Surabaya. Will this raise question in Embassy for the interview about the different of address? And the question regarding if she has lived outisde Surabaya for more than 6 months? Her current driver license has her current address in Surabaya, just not her resident card (KTP).

I've called Indonesian Embassy, but only asked about the requirement for Police Report, that it's confirmed it's not required for Indonesia.

Hi Rongko,

I am not so sure about your case, it will be problem or not on the interview latter on.

Good luck ...

Terima kasih banyak, Orn :)

I think we might go with the "Aman" way if it's fast and easy to do.

maybe in middle of waiting for the interview date.

And I will try to give the embassy a call regarding this issue since this case is not common.
