Where are the Canaliens?

Ok, I have the google account set up, but when I press the edit button all it allows me to do is change the name of the map. It doesn't allow me to add anything to place my location on the map. Am I missing something? Where do I find 'markers'?

Figured it out - had to refresh the page and then the markers options showed up right on the map itself to the right of the direction keys

After you press edit, the markers are beside the zoom thing on the map.

I updated my info! Added a little blurb about where I live. You have to zoom in to street view to see what I'm talking about, though. lol

The link she posted in the body of her post (not the sig) was for the original map we all tried out. That page didn't like any of us, so we switched to GoogleMaps.

I am on Googlemaps. I am confused. I used the link from her very last post. It shows everyone on the map. Am I not showing up for you? I get exactly the same map and same information when I click on the link in your post.

Yeah. I'm just thinking that if people come in who haven't visited today and followed this thread, they might go and put their info on the QuickMaps one that was Krikit's initial attempt, rather than on the site Sam provided (and everyone is using now).

I am still confused, though. It sounds like for you I am not using the same map, yet for me I am. It is the one that keeps getting updated every few minutes. It is the same one I access through the link on your post and on Krikit's post. It is not the QuickMap but the regular page. I guess I don't know what you are asking me to do.

Ah, ok, I understand now. You were asking me as a mod to update the link in Krikit's post - not referencing anything in my posts. Sorry for the confusion - I didn't get that until I read Krikit's response. Yes, she is the only one who can edit her posts.
