The CSC has a Facebook page. They had some kind of soccer tournement last week...wonder if it was on company time?

This last week seemed particularly slow..only 4-5 approvals from the igor list. I hope they can more than make of it, starting monday!

I noticed that too but I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they dealt with lots of non-VJers that week so it only looks like progress has slowed down. Or, the VJers just didn't update their statuses. I'm willing to try and be nice to them until they stop being nice to me :-)

Hi guys! The file I have attached is a simple macro that I created in Excel to retrieve the info from VJ and build up our own December specific statistics. You just need to input your NOA1 date, click on the "Update DATA" button and voila! It won't show nothing that it is not shown on VJ site but I thought it'd nice to have all the relevant information together on the screen.

Oh, you'll probably need to enable macros in Excel. I hope you find it useful! If you have any comments or improvements just let me know.

Yeah, I don't understand that. It seems really unfair! But I feel even more sorry for people in the October / November group who've been waiting even longer than us. I took a look and it seems as if most of the people left in those two gropus are from 'tricky' countries so maybe it takes longer for their info to be dealt with? Anyway, here's hoping the process is speeding up if they're doing January petitions. And with that in mind I really need to investigate getting my Police Cert (it doesn't exist in NZ and my 2, yes 2, UK ones don't count as I got them in 2008 (I work as a gymnastics coach, it's required)).

Submitted 12/30, NOA1 1/5, got text today for NOA2. It said they mailed it 2/26, I assume that is the NOA2 date. Hope it comes quickly for everyone else.

Same exact thing for me. I had a touch on 2/25 and then... got the text today saying it was updated and had been approved! Good luck to everyone else who is waiting!

Ok so I am going out of my mind here! It says estimated NOA2 -- Feb 25 - March 9 ..... I am patiently waiting CSC ...PLEASE APPROVE OUR BLOODY PETITION ALREADY!

At least we have had a couple people from this thread approved...that should bring some good luck for the rest of us.

Currently 24/61 of December applicants(Igor List) have been approved: nearly 40% a healthy number even before the start of March.

This means that either we had lesser overall December applicants in Dec due to holidays or CSC is really picking up some steam. I hope things go smoothly for all of us here. In my cases i have been moving around quite a bit(with CA though) which might delay some of the background checks but really hoping for an NOA2 by march 10.
