That's for sure!

It's like we (mid to late December) are in a box or pile on somewhere.

If I knew how to call in there I would ask them, What's Up?

I hear there is a number written on your NOA1 that you can call and inquire about your case.

I personally don't have mine since we retained a lawyer and she has all of our stuff.

I was thinking about asking her to give me the number but it is the petitioner that has to phone. Even so if I were to get Angelo to call I don't know if they would give much information.

But this waiting is driving me nuts especially when I see January and even February filers receiving their NOA2

Filed I-751: December 29 2012
Rec NOA1: January 7 2013
Biometrics:January 25 2013

I called the number 1 800 375-5283 and it's a lot of recordings that don't say anything that I don't already know. It seems until the 5 month processing time window has passed there is no oppotunity to do anything but wait. Well that's 2 more months.

As it is every day is like a week waiting for something to happen!

Congrats to everyone who had received their NO3. Mine is pretty much all ready to go as soon as I get the letter but since it't through London who are super slow that my take awhile.

Everyone who is still waiting I'm sure that you will receive your letters soon and then NVC is being really quick and hopefully the process from there will be very speedy for you. Good luck x

Greetings Frustrated Fellow December Filers! I too, have become very annoyed by the apparent stall in new December NOA 2s. If anything, my number on Igor's list went from 109 down to 110! MeggyMo, I look forward to reading what your attorney has to say. For my part, I spent an hour on the phone with the USCIS people at the 800-375-5283 number yesterday. What a wonderful, polite, and caring bunch of people they are... and total useless when it comes to giving information about your application! So, today I called my US Congressman's office here in Oregon and apparently they actually have a person who helps with this sort of thing. We're playing phone tag right now but if I learn anything useful I'll let you all know.

Thats awesome Casper!

Yea I think this is pretty ridiculous that they have just stopped and basically said well forget the rest of December. Hopefully my lawyer has some helpful info and for sure let us know what you find out.

Lets hope all our sleuthing gets us somewhere and we all get our NOA2S real soon!

For everyone waiting to know if your case has shipped from NVC to Consulate these instructions work:

1. Go to: http://track.dhl-usa.com/TrackByRef.asp?nav=TrackByRef

2. In Reference, enter the info as follows:

EXP DD MMM YYYYA

EXP is constant

DD is the date before the day the NVC said they shipped the case.

MMM is the three letters representing the month the NVC shipped the case

YYYY is the year the NVC shipped the case

A is constant

For example, if the NVC says they shipped the case on February 12 2009, this would be entered as "EXP 11 FEB 2009A"

3. Date range for shipment - From: Enter the date of the day NVC said they sent the case

4. Date range for shipment - To: Enter todays date

5. Keep the rest of the fields blank

7. Once you enter the info, press "Track"

8. After a while you will see a list of all of the packages that left the NVC today. You need to search for the specific consulate.

9. When you find the shipment the corresponds to your consulate, you will see the tracking number that you can record.

10. You can then track the shipment from the NVC to your specific Consulate

Remember the spaces in the reference because I tried without and it doesn't work. You might have to trawl through the pages to find your shipment but it's worth it for the peace of mind :)
