Congrats Terri and Eric. Now hopefully for you the Sydney consulate is way faster at allocating interviews than London is! I guess there's just too many people for London to see, lol.

Fingers crossed that you get to the US for April like you wanted x

I'm aiming for June now but that's looking doubtful :(

Thanks Emma *hugs*

From all I hear Sydney is quite fast at allocation of interview..so here is crossing everything possible for a fast turn around.

I really hope London get you in for interview sooner rather then later :)

Please continue to cheer for/pray for all us remaining December filers. I'm beginning to wonder if my case is being behind-the-scenes moved or non-documented "touches", aka, forwarded to special investigation departments.

We have a complicated situation. K-1 plus three K-2 kids (Do they reference check them since approval for dad is an instant approval for the children? Their record is squeeky clean), a U.S. Consulate famous for testing even nerves of steel, and a POA (Point of Entry) denial last Sept. in which they revoked his tourist Visa (yes, due to a complication). I'm sure it's holding up our process, but we could use some extra prayers.

and to all you December people moving through NVC and on to Embassies...you go, man!!! Love will blaze your path...

Stephanie

12/2006 Met while Ivan was in the US on a Turist Visa

12/15/09 I-129F Sent to California

12/21/2009 NOA1

5/11/10 K-1 Approved by CSC :)

6/9/2010 Traveling with my boys to spend a month in Ecuador

6/30/2010 Consulates list of "cases ready to interview"

7/5/2010 "call back in 8 wks and THEN we will set interview date"

July 2010 Three MORE calls-"now I can't book end of August, that's too far ahead to put on the calendar".

August 2010 Last-minute decision by two of Ivan's boys that they want the K2, two more weeks of drafting and Notorizing new legal custody agreements

8/12/10 A FIFTH PIN and call-- "call back just ahead".

8/16/10 A SIXTH PIN and call-- "we can book you for in two days, but if you want next Monday the 23rd or Tuesday the 24th, then call back later THIS WEEK, and we will book you for MONDAY MORNING". frustrated letter by me to Consulate email

8/17/10 Call from US Consulate Guayaquil, man profusely apologizing, books us for 24th.

8/24/10 K1 interview--denied--told he has a lifetime ban. Sad, sad, very sad day.

Currently investigating options on marriage...then 1.5 years of more wait.

I am sure your approval is not far away -- I know all too well how hard it is to sit & wait and watch other filers getting their approvals while you sit in hellish limbo....but have faith & trust that your turn is right around the corner

Hello,

I hope that there've been some more approvals today! Just stay positive and hopeful if you're still waiting, your time will come soon.

We've just received our letter telling us that our parcel will be sent to the London Embassy this week! Yay  Then just a 3 or 4 week wait for London to actually acknowledge that they've received it, lol! Oh well, at least I can go ahead and book a medical now

Oh, I still haven't heard about our December CSC K1, but EXCELLENT NEWS of a different, yet related sort!!! Today, I found out that I won a National Fellowship to do a teaching project ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. Of course, I wrote it to study the schooling system in Ecuador! I WON! I WON! I WON! :wow: I'm heading down two weeks earlier than expected, flight, hotels, food, rental car PAID!:dance::dance: First I jumped around the house yelling, then I cried a bit (relief!, it's $5000), then I got down on my knees and said a little thank you. :ot: I get to tour several schools, investigate methodologies of reading and writing in their native language, how they teach English as a foreign language, and parental involvement in the schooling system. I'm psyched. :ot2: Guess who gets to be my own personal chofer and travel consultant? Oh, now if only the NOA2 would come so we could get our interview finalized for during my visit....

Luck o' the Irish to me this week....KEEP IT COMING FOR ALL OF US!!!

Does it specifically say that the case was reviewed by an agent on so and so date?

Mine has not been updated after the NOA1 date.

Yes that date changes if the case worker handles your case.

My understanding is though that it's not always done, meaning processing maybe happening on your case but the date is not always changed.

That's for sure!

It's like we (mid to late December) are in a box or pile on somewhere.

If I knew how to call in there I would ask them, What's Up?
