At least we have had a couple people from this thread approved...that should bring some good luck for the rest of us.

Currently 24/61 of December applicants(Igor List) have been approved: nearly 40% a healthy number even before the start of March.

This means that either we had lesser overall December applicants in Dec due to holidays or CSC is really picking up some steam. I hope things go smoothly for all of us here. In my cases i have been moving around quite a bit(with CA though) which might delay some of the background checks but really hoping for an NOA2 by march 10.

Those are GREAT statistics!

At this rate we will all be ringing the wedding bells sooner rather than later!

Congrats to all the filers who've been approved. Does anybody who filed early in the month feel like the newer ones got dumped on top of ours and we're now at the bottom of a pile?

Oh my goodnes! Our case just moved from one person's desk to another :) I'm assuming that's what the 'touch' means, lol! :jest:

Ok I have heard so much about being touched I don't exactly know what it is or how I find out if I have been touched. If someone could give me a quick explanation that would be great! :)

When you login to the USCIS case status website (have you created an account with them?) you see the "Last Updated" date. This is your last "touched" date, that your file was viewed/seen on. However multiple people on VJ have said that they have been approved with few to no touches, so its debatable how predictive it is...

Hope that helps!

Have you been getting an email and/or text every touch or do you just track it on USCIS?

It seems like for those that get processed without updates that it is an optional task for the caseworkers that they may or may not enter case activity in their USCIS computer??

Anyway I just wish they would hurry up and clear ALL December 2010 filers!!

I sure do have an account with them and I went on and I did not see anywhere that said last updated date. Maybe I am just blind. I do have the email and cell phone notifications on so maybe that would tell if I have been touched

I guess I was being a little mean there. Just got word that we've been approved (literally the email came in 5 minutes ago)! It wasn't just a desk move! I'm so happy and excited and now I need to do more than just stare at the forms. And Yuri will be here at Easter. We didn't have a single touch on our case these whole 3 months so I thought it was just buried.

Good luck to all the rest of the December filers. I look forward to seeing your updates on the rest of the process. (L)
