heh...how'd i miss this thread up until now?

my husband and i have been struggling with infertility for over a year. i HATE it when people say things like,

"just relax, and then you'll get pregnant."

"oh, but the trying is the fun part, right?"

"enjoy your freedom now, because when you have kids it's all over."

gah.

i hate naked toenails. paint those things, girls!

i hate how people give SUV drivers such a bad rap. if i can afford to drive it, why shouldn't i? i've waited too long for babies...when i finally do have one, you betcha that i'm gonna do everything i can to protect them...including driving my big @ss Dodge Durango.

i hate how nasty politics have gotten.

i hate rap music.

i hate mosquitos, spiders, and snakes.

i hate the stupid dang squirrels who won't stay out of my garden. they've stolen ALL of my tomatoes right off the vine...and i can't seem to make them stay out.

i hate that i have to go to work every day, while my husband gets to sleep in! come on, green card! this boy needs a job!

i hate that my dog has suddenly developed bad gas and chronic diarreah. (TMI?)

wow..i feel better! :)

I hate it when people have the nerve to yell, scream, cuss like a longshoreman and say I'm harassing them when they are overdue with their credit card payment, oh and $1000 over their credit limit to boot.

I also hate it when I get someone on the phone who legitimately need a hand up to get back on track financially and after running through all the options I can't help them. :(

I also hate that my stomach has hurt pretty much constantly since I took this job, and I hate that I really do need to go look for another one.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Just a little rant...I went away for the weekend, we drove 9 hours both ways. And the person who was driving me, my mom and sister never seems to eat meals!!

I'm saying this here, whoever reads please please take notice. :P If you have guests at your house or are traveling and you are the driver, ask the people with you if they are hungry!!! Don't assume that if you are not, then no one else is!!

Me, my sis and mom seriously have a food anxiety when around these people. My mom packed a huge bag full of snacks because we knew we wouldn't be eating normal. I really don't understand it, these people are not thin toothpicks(well I'm not either!) but they are hardly eating when we are around them. And my mom and sister are too timid to say "I'm hungry" and they'd give me a weird look if I wanted to say..."umm, I'm hungry". But I just thought, forget this, I'm not going hungry for 3 days because of being afraid ask for food. So I'd once in awhile say, wow I'm hungry... Then it'd take the people we were with 2 HOURS to figure out where to eat, so by the time you eat you are about to pass out.

Oooh that annoys me so much. I have friends where of course anytime we are hungry we just can eat, but these people...I just don't get it. They'll eat at 9 am a small thing, then they won't eat til like 9pm at night, how do they do it??? I don't mind if that's how they eat, but to enforce that on everyone?? :crying: For the love of God, people usually eat a lunch and then a dinner before 9pm!! I ate so many granola bars on the journey while in mid hunger that it made me, let's say, have to go to the bathroom a lot. :innocent:

That's all for now, but everyone remember, feed people who are visiting you or are traveling with you!

And to add...that it is so well known among us that this family eats at very weird times (and other friends in a different state), that if one of us is visiting them...we will send text msgs to eachother saying "are you eating??". And usually the answer is "about to faint.." And then, when you do eat, you tend to binge...cuz you don't know when you will eat again.

That's all for now, but everyone remember, feed people who are visiting you or are traveling with you!

got it!

Man your friends would hate me, Stina, cos I get CRABBY if I'm not fed like every two hours.

:ranting:

My city does not believe in sidewalks, and if they do they are only partial ones. I had to go to the bank this morning, it's only 3 or 4 blocks away. With the exception of my house and my next 2 neighbors there wasn't a sidewalk in sight, leaving me to walk on the road or someones lawn.

There isn't 1 bit of sidewalk on the other side of my street, my house has one, the neighbor to the left has one, the neighbor next to them has a partial one, it doesn't go all the way to the street so you have to walk on their lawn. This is how the entire city is and it's crazy! Forget trying to find one on the busy commercial streets either

The funny thing is, if you have one you can't remove it, it must be replaced even though it doesn't go anywhere!

I've been busy all day (biometrics..that's another rant I'll save for later).

I've now sat down and am trying to resist looking on VJ cos Dave goes to work at 11pm and I get bored, so I thought I'd save reading up until he's gone..

I gave in to temptation and came on here grrrr! Luckily I only skimmed the topics, hopefully I didn't just read the good bits.

OK rant over.
