I grew up in a family that hated pets and it definitely stayed with me. Just the thought of living with animals makes me feel a little sick.

On a serious note, same here.

my cat don't bug me like some people do :P

The dude who sits behind me BATHES in cologne!! GAG, HACK. This is to cover up the smell of BO. I'm not sure which is worse.

He has been up in a conference room for the past month, now shows up down here again this morning. :( Just my luck, after being sick all day yesterday, now this.

Today's rant for me continues to be the weather. Two days of record-breaking temperatures (in the triple digits) and diptwit forecasters who keep getting it majorly wrong. (Yesterday was supposed to be a high of 92 and it hit 102.)

I don't do weather extremes well...which is why I live where I do. *mutters incoherently*

Electricity is really just organized lightning.

it's one thing to pay child support, it's another when it runs in 4 digits (to the left of the decimal) or more per month. now how can you spend $10,000 a month on a kid? but that's our courts....

Are you suggesting civil disobedience?

i'm suggesting the courts get a grip! i would have a difficult time spending 10k a month, month after month.

Keep it in your pants then

Papercuts....I just had to do a bunch of copying and sliced a nice deep cut right underneath my fingernail as I went to pick up the copies :( It throbbed like the dickens for a few minutes...

And my coworker, she's sitting here doing homework and I'm ending up having to answer all the phone calls :P

Why do people hold up a long line of traffic in the Walmart car park for half-a-bloody hour waiting for someone to leave a spot that's 5 feet nearer the door than if they had just pulled into one that was readily available when they entered the car park?

And why don't they put their trolley back in the holder thing after they have loaded their car? They leave it in the middle of the car park, rolling around on the uneven surface dinging the other cars.:angry:

And why doesn't Walmart eye-test folks they lend their motorized shopping carts to?:angry::angry: They whizz and buzz around the store, like they own the stinking place!

Why do people on I-20 think they can enter a moving freeway at 40 mph? I am sure it can't be a unique phenomenon to I-20-my guess is that happens everywhere

I just hate that - drives me freakin crazy, I was just at walmart the other day, people doing the same exact thing.....drives me nuts I tell ya

I hate it when people will go through all that trouble just to save a few bucks. Go shop where they actually pay their employee's. ;)

Hey Steven...When you are signing my paycheck and buying my groceries, maybe then you can tell me where to shop.

edit to add-but even if that unlikely scenario were to happen-you still run the risk of being told to butt out.

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

I had a sad moment in the store the other day where I realized I was feeling good about shopping at Target instead of Walmart because of that. You know for the low prices of Target, a lot of people are obviously living crappy lives, but em, at least the people who work in the actual stores make a livable wage. Sigh...

Can't tell anyone what to do with their money, but after watching a family member's small town destroyed by WM, after which WM promptly pulled out leaving the town nothing, I have some grievances with that company.

There's only so much broke people can do, although I do like to choose Target over WM any day...
