I'm curious if anyone in the same boat as us have been touched at all?

I made the NVC send me a letter stating that they received our petition back and have sent it on the the cervice center. That was done back on June 28th and still no reaction from VSC.

There is no reason why these petitions which have been approved already should be sitting in some pile, ignored!!

Sent AOS/EAD: March 30, 2007

Receipt Date: April 1st, 2007

NOA: April 6, 2007

Biometrics: April 30, 2007

Transferred to CSC: May 8, 2007

Hmmm...based on your NOA1, you filed after the March 6th cutoff date for the new IMBRA law to into effect. I'm surprised you got an NOA2 and I'm wondering if that's the delay? They might have caught the oversight and have sent your petition back to VSC.

Did you register online with USCIS? If not, they might have already sent you your IMBRA RFE.

You're right. There's nor reason for your petition or lots of other petitions to be ignored, but they just are. Life sucks sometimes. sigh. There were petitions approved and that had been sent to the consulates, with packets 3 and/or 4 received that have not been touched in a long time (http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=20652 )

If you haven't registered with the USCIS site, yet, you may want to take a look at this thread: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...&hl=touches

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

There is no reason why they do what they do the USCIS, a big sigh. With the amount of approvals out of Vermont I was sure hoping mine would come through soon too, but patient I will be as there are so many others that have waited much longer. Best of luck to us all, and here is hoping the system gets moving quickly soon.
