We received our NOA for hubbys EAD. Went to the uscis website to register it and the number comes up invalid!!!!! I called them and all the woman said is that if we have a receipt number, then they have the paperwork. I guess all we can do is wait for the appointment letter.

My receipt letter dates are Jan 24th and I'm still waiting. Ive heard it can take 3-4 weeks before they are viewable online.

My lawyer also told me he thinks they're having problems with numbers starting MSC (like mine), but I think that's just something he's telling me as he doesn't really know how long it takes.

Best guess though - if it's not working in three to four weeks, start to stress! :)

I kinda believe this because many people right now posting that they're not showing up online (case does not exist) are chicago lockbox petitions.

It took well over a month for me to be able to see my case status online.

Don't worry - you're not missing much! They don't keep them as updated as they could :P

Make sure you're wearing clean knickers. You never know when you'll be run over by a bus.

Same with us... our NOA's are dated January 24 and I have been trying ever since to enter them into USCIS's case status online, to no avail. Trying to be patient... lol. In the meantime, we have biometrics appts on Friday... hopefully no big deal other than pulling our son out of school for the day (after a snow day today... lucky kid!) and driving into the BIG CITY...

Good luck to the OP and all others languishing in Invalid Case Number Land...

:luv:

Many thanks to the Visajourney community for all the help!
