Ain't no Best or Worst.

It's up to you to do your due dilligence and shop around

Prices change hourly / daily or weekly

Best way is to have a relative work for an airlines and get the free ticket via stand by

Take a look at www.sidestep.com (it checks multiple sites for you)... and use dates flexible to check fares for plus/minus three days. It can make a several hundred dollar difference just flying a day earlier/later.

Also, be careful when checking fares,,, if you are checking several search engines,,, it will appear that the fares are going up. It is because, each site will temporarily reserve the seats,,, and the supply/demand rules may make the next search return higher fares... If this is the case, wait 20-30 mins before trying again.

Once you find the fares you want,,, book directly with the airline... This way if you have an issue,,, it will be easier to resolve.

FYI... I checked for a flight date of 12/13... I used www.sidestep.com and another site I have looked at before www.bing.com/travel.

www.bing.com/travel put together a much better fare,,, combining Cathay Pacific and United Airlines... MNL to AUS for $740.. great price.

Good Hunting,

Good Hunting,

Is that Manila to Austin Texas

I am taking a group of friend to PI in February.

I average about $1,700 per flight cost on my last 3 trips, 800 bucks would be a great deal.

There is a little not-so well know trick with many on-line travel sites such as Expedia or Travelocity. In the fine print of the TOS when you registered (who reads those things anyway) you authorized them to download a cookie into your browser. This is really kind of a sly trick on their end.

What happens is when you first look at a flight you will be offered the cheapest fare available for all flights between origination and destination. If you wait a few hours or days and go to check out the site again you will find the price has increased. Each time or every other time you look into, you will see fewer and fewer seats available and the cost has increased, however, you may be the only one looking into the flight information. If you were to use a separate computer to login at any point you would see the original fare offered and quite possible more seats available. If you go back to clear your cache on the you computer, you will notice the far has once again decreased and there may be more seats available.

Putting a cookie in your browser means allows them to track how many times YOU are looking at a flight for a fare. On their end, they create a sense of urgency in the end-user to encourage them to purchase the ticket while slowly inflating the price until you finally purchase. It seems kind of dastardly to but you did agree to the TOS.

There is no need to use a second computer unless you want to verify this for yourself. All one really needs to do is ensure that before you check or recheck on availability for desired period that you clear your cache before each check to ensure you're actually getting the cheapest price. It is my understanding that the cookies self-expire after 7 days.

EVA Airways is the cheapest i found i got round trip open ended 900 plus tax for a year. One way is 540 plus tax. good flight TV in every seat. You become a member and get tickets. But the only problem if you use credit then it has to be in persons name who is flying. unless you pay cash there is a book place right in Makati city. good luck

Here is there website https://www.evaair.com/html/b2c/english/. You have to become a member witch is free. The only problem is when you purchase tickets with your credit card you have to be one of the persons flying unless you use your wife's/fiancees credit card to purchase.
