Mike, hope you are hanging in there. It's good to have other things going on to keep your mind off this stuff! I sent Gary's chart to both of my senators' offices today - my congressman's office is worthless. I don't know if it will help or not but I certainly hope so.

Thanks E & K for the welcome back........I continue to get updates from ulings list every day...............

School's back in session now so after working all day.......I'm pretty much doing homework times 3 kids then putting them to bed and then writing my girl 6000 miles away..........(we've recently exchanged our 700th letter now!!!!!!)you know the basic priorities of a single dad/fiancee typical type of day............

anyway, I will keep the March list going until we all are approved.......to the very last member..........(and it better not be me!!!!!!!!!!!)

Keep praying everyone.......the "A" list will continue to grow.

God Bless

Mike

Hey Mike, (AKA Sleepless in New Mexico/Mr. Lonely):

I have actually been reapproved without benefit of any update or email or snailmail from CSC. My congressman's aide called a couple weeks ago, after i called him a few times to bug him, to report that my petition had indeed been reapproved and sent back to NVC on Aug 15. Since then, I've confirmed that through calling NVC, and getting a return email from them saying it was so. I'm pretty sure my petition is now sitting in the US Embassy in Paris as of this morning. I did all the things I could, as inpsired by you and others, writing the certified letter Ms. Poulos, sending the privacy release to my congressman, along with a written summary of the facts, and supporting documentation (lists of approvals from VJ), wearing new callouses on my knees, lighting candles, you name it. In any event, something worked, maybe just the time it took for them to grind their way through the pile at CSC. but I'm thinking your approval has got to be on the way. Thanks for your encouragement along the way. I've been wondering how you've been holding up. Nice to see you here again. bon chance, non ami! B)

Mike,

I am really discouraged in the lack of attention to your case. You will get justice soon though, of that I am sure.

Hang in there buddy. I started the over 150 club phrase, so I know how you feel. Cheers!

We can only pray for that, Gary, cos the way its going, it will take a miracle !

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Is it my imagination or have they focused on March Noa1's now? I am hopeful they don't want us to hit the six month mark and will give us our approvals soon.

It does seem like the MARCHERS are finally getting the attention they deserve!! I remember reading a post awhile back saying that a congressman had said that all recalls were to be finished up and sent back to the embassies by the end of August. This may explain what has been going on the past while. I know at least that my case, that I thought had surely been gobbled up by a voracious shredder, was actually sent back to NVC. and then back to the embassy in Paris before the end of August - BARELY. Maybe it was the pile of recalls that have been holding things up for the Marchers. but now that they are out of the way. the backlog has full attention once again. Who knows how to explain the random NOA2s for people eho filed in June, July and August???? Tres bizarre, n'est-ce-pas?

Hi I am part of the unlucky March group. Received in Nebraska on march 21. Transferred to Cali on June 1st. Received my RFE (IMBRA) on July 21st. Still waiting to hear of any approval. Contacted my congressperson. They told me there is nothing I can do because the website states they are working on February 21st. No live person at the CSC either.

Hope you are right sleepless! Maybe they are back on track. I never did tell my fiancee they were going out of order so much. She was really sad when I told her a few people got ahead of us...and I don't dare tell her some only waited one month. I told her to ask me again in 30 days. ;)
