Wait a minute....If I am not mistaken, these two newbies were not the first post IMBRA approvals from CSC.

That was from Vermont, not California.

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

Also, I remember that one who was approved in only 43 days (not sure of the exact number of days). I think there were a few already though.

Okay, what I am only trying to say is that it's not impossible CSC is starting to give away NOA2s. (I hope!)

Jan. 30 - I-212 check fee was cashed (no case # stamped at the back) - no NOA1

Mar. 25 - Engagement

May 05 - I-129F - date of NOA1

May 12 - received I-129F NOA1 from CSC in mail

May 12 - I-129F touched

Jun. 27 - I-129F touched THREE TIMES

(RFE was sent on 6/23....)

- change of address updated

Jul. 04 - I-129F touched

Jul. 05 - I-129F touched

Jul. 10 - I-129F touched (On July 8, 2006, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued.)

Jul. 11 - I-129F touched

Jul. 14 - IMBRA RFE w/ postmark 7/10 was received in the mail and mailed it back via overnight delivery

Jul. 18 - I-129F touched

Jul. 22 - 2nd IMBRA RFE w/ postmark 7/18 was received in the mail

Jul. 24 - 2nd RFE sent via overnight delivery

Jul. 25 - I-129F touched - status update: RFE received on 7/25

For those that don't t seem to comprehend the mentality of the troll comment, I will refresh a previous point that I made:

Just understand that the "First" Post-IMBRA approval was the critical milestone, to our understanding of this process out of CSC. Coming from a newbie raised "eyebrows". Certainly, a logical thought process.

From this point forward, you will not see this sort of "newbie bashing". It was all about the "First"

Post- IMBRA approval. I hope you and others do understand now.

I was wrong to call the OP a troll. But, it certainly did not stem from jealousy. I have and continually offer my sincere support to those approved, irrespective of the timeline. That is a fact.

I agree with you William33. I felt the same way when I saw it. No jealously, just skeptical, since CSC has no clue what they are doing and now an NOA1 date past march being approved, what gives. They are only processing on 3-6-06, right, who knows what they are doing with all the speculation of how they are going to process with the RFE's. By RFE return date or NOA1 date? or who's file is on top that day. No equity in their process for sure. He&& yes I want my file processed before someone who filed after me. That is not jealously that is equity. The system that has been in place for years in the processing order. So maybe I should file a new petition and it would get processed faster than mine after 4 months of waiting for nothing.

Again I think feel the same way William33. I am happy to see approvals and happy for the newbie. The frustration is not at OP, but at CSC.

I think that's just what they are waiting for you to say or admit, that you were wrong to call the OP a troll. I understand where you are coming from, and I know you are just concerned about the accuracy of the threads being posted here. I just hope this thread teach us some lesson to be at least civil to one another, if we don't have anything good to say to our co-members. I have nothing against you william33, but look, by simply making a simple mistake (when you called the OP a troll), you are now being misjudged and called a jealous person or something like that. The bottom line is this person got hurt by how you judged him, so I hope this ends whatever misunderstanding you guys have here. Besides, we all belong to one forum. Peace :)

In fairness to william33, I do agree that he is very supportive to VJs.

I was the first to suggest that this "might be" a troll. The info he provided in his first post was very scarce... it was his first post, and no timeline was provided... As William said, there was no jealousy in the suspicion... only skepticism that stemmed from the fact that many of us have been waiting longer... we would have expected one of us to be the first instead of someone coming out of thin air.

That being said, I apologize if my suspicion caused this upheaval. I will still feel better when those of us who have been active on this site start seeing movement. Only then will I believe that the CSC is actually doing something with our K1s.

To those of you are are quick to flame with accusations of jealousy and bitterness, you read way more into this than was necessary.

Congratulations and good luck with the rest of your journey, Uzy.

Oh well I guess you just don't get my point... Why do you have to be skeptical? Why can't you just be happy and realize that you are probably next!? And it doesn't matter if they are newbies... why would that even matter?

Congrats to the OP and sorry to stir this up but it just seems to rediculous and sad to those who have good news.

babybunny,

I was "one of them".

However, had you "read up" on the issue, before generating a thoughtless response, you would then understand. Get with the program, or don't bother to escalate an issue that does not even affect you.

some people are calling me a troll for telling the good news I got from CSC, well I do not have to prove a thing to anybody, it is real, i got nothing to gain than my baby will be coming soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been reading posts here since February and starting posting I guess in June or so. Nobody has a problem with someone getting an approval, that is positive news. JenT and William33 are very supportive and contribute in many threads very positively. They are always willing to respond to redundant questions from newbies and help them along, because we all have been there. I think any judgement on them is way out of line and their skepticism is understood by those in the same position as them., which those that are being critical of their quick assessment is not. By the way, after further information was provided, they corrected themselves and apologized for the quick assessment.

I think the bottom line is we have received so much misinformation, we want verifiable facts before getting excited. Of course an NOA2 is good news and is welcomed. The dishearting fact still remains that their is no rhyme or reason to CSC's queing procedures. The fact is that is someone filed two months after you and was processed before you, do you see equity in those facts. We abide by rules and regulations hoping for a logical process but there is none when it comes to the post-imbra processing. We want everyone to get their NOA2's as fast as possible, it is not jeasouly on my part or JenT or William33, but recognition of potential inequities and derlication of duty on the part of CSC. Is CSC really giving approvals now and what is the real time frame say for someone with a NOA1 date of March 6 if someone in April has already received their NOA2.

USCIS and INS have always been based on priority dates. Priority dates are the most critical aspect in the processing and reciept of approvals, A#'s or green cards. So would you be happy if you were awaiting your Green Card and they decided to randomly pick priority dates past yours and bypass and not honor your priority date? I don't think so.

WOW i guess you guy's think that only the few hundred members on vj are waiting post IMBRA results.

Thats sad for you to think that, being that there is thousands of people out there and they just arent familiar with this site.

You should realise that there are some people applying for visa's and arent even computer literate and havent even a clue that there is support sites like this one to help them.

You know the world or the uscis doesnt revolve around vj and for you to think that is really sad.

There are people getting approvals, AR's,Denials and every other possible kind of results around the clock but just because they arent posting about it here doesnt mean its not happening.

This is supposed to be a support group so why cant we all just be supportive and keep the negativity out of the forums.

I hope we all get our approvals soon but bashing each other isnt going to make it happen any faster.

i can understand the suspicion - of the csc approvals i've seen so far, all have been newbies who recently joined vj. when i see a vj member who is not a newbie posting about approval then i'll stop being suspicious.

Good Lord... can someone explain to me in a rational way as to why it makes a difference if they are a newbie or not? Have you thought of the possibilites as to why they are a newbie and why they are just posting now.

Why on earth would someone lie about this? Why? Why are you so skeptical? Just because this person didn't add to the 100's of IMBRA threads in the past makes them unreliable?

Sad sad sad. I can't imagine why all of you wouldn't be jumping for joy right now instead of going around choosing who you believe and who you don't and saying that someone would lie about their approval. That is sick.

I fully agree.

the world dont evolve around VJ. just because people dont post - dont mean anything. there are 1001 immigration message boards. VJ is not the only one

when I first joined VJ I never posted til I got my approval. which really that is not odd.

its that people may not feel comfortable with posting til they have something to say or ask.

people were all up my azz when I got approval in 2 months. I did not know why but, they had the nerve to tell me I am lying. people dont know #######. til its posted. the funny thing is there is proble people with approval faster than what the OP posted.
