sarah and hicham,

Look, your SO is arriving in 11 days. IMBRA did not affect you. So, You could not even begin to understand the mentality of the IMBRA affected. Not bitter, not jealous, just skeptical. Again, read post #8. If you still don't get it. Well, I cannot help you.

No I really don't... so just because he finally signed up to post messages means he is not reliable? Too much bitterness here if you ask me.

Poor newbies can't get any respect these days!

I dont' see why you can't believe that maybe someone filed their petition BEFORE finding VJ... and has now found it and posted...

Yes I am lucky that I just missed IMBRA but I read about it everyday and I know several people who are going through it and I feel your pain... but don't let your frustrations have such a negative effect, especially when others in your situation have good news that SHOULD give you hope.

I am truly sad that you cannot be happy for this person, especially because it is great news for other IMBRA victims.

I hope that when you get your NOA2 that no one will treat you the way that you have treated this person. It makes no difference whether they are a newbie or not... think about it.

Good luck to you!

Ah, but I did offer my congrats after all. Albeit late in the game.

Just understand that the "First" Post-IMBRA approval was the critical milestone, to our understanding of this process out of CSC. Coming from a newbie raised "eyebrows". Certainly, a logical thought process.

From this point forward, you will not see this sort of "newbie bashing". It was all about the "First"

Post- IMBRA approval. I hope you and others do understand now. Cheers.

Hehe, Ok guys lets just calm down here. The real bad guy here is IMBRA, USCIS and the DOS. (lets not forget the lawmakers that passed this law without thinking of the fallout it would cause)

Uzy36, please understand our position here. This government caused debacle has been causing so much pain that we just don't want out hopes taken up only to have them dashed again. Look at it from our point of view. We have been waiting for what seems to be an eternity then two people announce the very thing we have been waiting for with their very first post. A while back we were flooded with trolls getting everyone stirred up about IMBRA and we are all just gun-shy and disheartend with the whole thing. If you and the other person truly did get post-IMBRA NOA2's then I say YAY!!!!!! Good for you!!!! But for some it will take someone that has been here a while to announce the same before they are convinced. Please don't blame us, blame the @#($&(*@# govenment for doing this to us.

That was totally uncalled for. CSC doesn't pass anyone's app by for the reasons you suggest. I think all of you who take the "troll" attitude need to get a grip! Geesh!

To the OP: congratulations and I hope the rest of this journey goes by smoothly and quickly for you.
