Try another motor vehicles office. When I got my 2 year greencard they gave me a 2 year license with TEMP IMGR STATUS on it. I went to renew it with my about to expire GC + the letter extending it for a year, they didn't care about the letter. They said have a seat we have to call it in, to my surprise they gave me a 4 year license with no TEMP IMGR STATUS.

Imagine that we went to 2 differnt offices but hey he got the card before the DL expired so we are good to go. Better the young one doesn't drive :lol:

And I hate that Temp Imgr Status BS for sure

Why is it that the only one who can stop the crying is the one who started it in the first place?

Congratulations!!!!! :dance: :dance:

If you filed for both on the same petition, then most probably both got approved in the same notification. I've seen this before. The online notice will not say that but the letter will and you should receive both GCs.

Each one had their own petition, so now I worry a tad about the little one. He is 13 ( going to Colombia for 2 months starting in June ) , however when we went for BIO the officer changed the finger print to code 3 rather than code 2 it had. Who the heck knows with this crude that's for sure :P

Why is it that the only one who can stop the crying is the one who started it in the first place?

I received a text message this morning.

"On March 24, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

I'm happy that its over for now :dance: :dance: :dance: I hope and wish that it goes smooth for everyone else who has been waiting for their Green Card's. Go VSC Go. As fast as you can.

Thankyou everyone and for those who are still waiting, just hang in there. Its comming soon for you guys too. Seems like VSC is processing according to the date they received the applications.

when you check your status online what did it used to say? mine looks like the following:

"On December 15, 2009, we received this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED, and ..."

Aug 2001 - Enter US on B2 visiting visa

July 2002 - Enrolled in school, obtained F1 Visa

Sept 2007 - Married

Nov 2007 - File for GC

Feb 2008 - Interview - approved

Mar 2008 - received 2 year conditional GC.

11/30/2009 - Applied for ROC

12/15/2009 - received NOA, NOA date 12/10/2009

1/15/2010 - FP appointment

1/17/2010 - LUD

4/18/2010 - Previous I765 LUD

When they update your status online, you should receive something like this:

"On [month] [day], [year], we mailed you a notice that we have approved this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

N-400 Naturalization Timeline
