Hello All:

I recently got a update of my I-751 case that states "Card Production Ordered". I have some questions regarding this

1. What is the average time for actually getting the card in the mail?

2. Does the VSC mail the card or is it another service center?

3. I plan on applying for "citizenship for my spouse in November of 2010 do i Need to do anything in between I-751 approval and filing for U.S citizenship?

Oh, his Bio date was 12/17... It looks like you need to wait little bit more...

I dont have a problem waiting if the wait is reasonable, many others who have filed before me are waiting..you are right his bio-date was earlier so I will have to wait a little more , I just hope everyone gets relief soon from this wait game

Nope we are all watching the November filers with anticipation, also wondering what is happening with October. Hope it is just people not updating their time lines.

Seeing all the approvals out of California is making my husband very nervous seeing we are the last December filer in CA that hasn't gotton approved yet? Any suggestions? I go on the USCIS site every day and it says the same thing.

Infopass may be ?? Also VJ list is not a true indicator of the processing time , only a misniscule percentage of people use VJ out of the thousands of filers , but yes if you are worried about your case , the only way to know what is going on is an Infopass appointment , although many people think that booking an inforpass appointment before 6 months is like blasphemy.. but its not ..you have nothing to lose by making an infopass appointment

Give it some time. The number of filers is much greater than what is being tracked here. Infopass will not do you any good since they will ask you to wait 6 months before asking if there is a problem with your application... just wait a few more weeks.

I know, it is easier said than done!
