I got my biometrics appt letter for the 14th of January :)

Question: can i go before that date? or even if I go in the morning (it says 11am) so we don't have to miss work? thanks and Merry Christmas to everyone :)

Yes you can go early for a Bio appointment but the ASC can reject you it just depends on who is on duty that day and how busy they are. My Bio was scheduled 1/12/2010 and I got it done 12/22/2009. I arrived early (1 hour before the center opened) to make sure I was first in line and they were very nice about it, it was no trouble at all. However one of the November Filers tried and they were turned away.

I checked VSC filer monabelle's profie and I found he or she is K-1 filer.

Yes, monabelle wrote mailed "I-129F" on this thread. monabelle also posted AOS December filer thread too :D

So, I deleted monabelle from VSC list :)

Question - I see some people have had NOA1 in a matter of days. Are the Service Centers really issuing NOA1's that quick where you get a letter in the mail that quick?!?!?

My husband went for his walk in biometrics this morning. He got there at 8 a.m. and explained that he has an appointment in January but that he'll be back to work at that time and would like to do it now. The man at the door said he'd ask if it was ok, and the woman he asked agreed. Hubby was in and out in less than 25 minutes. Yeaaa.

Thanks for the help to the VJers who did this before us and let us know we could as well.

PS: He said there weren't many people there.

Some are yes, and some are not due to the holidays. It all depends on when you sent it in. I sent mine the 1st week of the month so that I could get the NOA1 before the holidays came.

I want to try going in early for biometrics too because me and my husband have a family gathering most of January but that is only if we have a January appointment :thumbs:
