We're holding off on my husbands tax return until we get my EAD because I missed my window to get a social security number (and I can't get one without my EAD) and he needs it to have me and our daughter listed as dependants we were told. Boo!

Got Engaged : Jan 3 2009

Got Married : July 12 2009

Started work on the AOS papers : Aug 2009

Sent I-130,I-485,I-765 : Dec 5 2009

Package received : Dec 7 2009 signed for by L BOX

Checks cashed : Dec 14 2009

Received NOA's for I-130,I-485,I-765 : Dec 17 2009

Biometrics appt letter issued : Dec 17 2009

Congrats student28 on getting your EAD card....

I finally got the email for both the EAD and AP stating card production ordered... yay!!!!

So excited... I can finally get my driver's license and Social Security card....

January 2003: Arrived in USA with F-1 visa

April 2003: Was introduced to hubby thru a friend

August 2004: Met him for the first time in NJ and the rest is history

March 2009: Got engaged

August 28, 2009: Got married to my loving boo

October 2009: Went for medical and vaccines, didn't know i had to have the HPV shot, so went to get it

December 1, 2009: Sent in AOS forms I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765, I-693 and I-863 to Chicago Lockbox.

December 12, 2009: package was sent back & rejected due to no signature on I-130

December 14, 2009: signed form I-130 and sent all forms back to Chicago Lockbox

December 16, 2009: delivered and signed @11:15am

December 22, 2009: Check cashed

December 24 or 26, 2009: All 4 NOAs received.. all dated Dec. 21st (didn't check my mailbox, was out of town)

December 28, 2009: Biometrics appt letter received for Jan 13th

December 31, 2009: Walk-in biometrics. Original appt - Jan 13, 2010

February 12, 2010: Card production ordered for both EAD and AP

February 15, 2010: I-131 Touched

February 18, 2010: I-765, I-485, I-130 Touched

February 20, 2010: EAD received in the mail...

March 2nd, 2010: Initial Interview...

March 2nd 2010: Green Card approved...Thank you Lord

January 20, 2012: Filed for Removal of Condition

January 27, 2012: Received Notice for Biometrics

February 10, 2012: Walk-in Biometrics, Feb 24, 2012: Original Biometrics

June 18, 2012: Rcvd NOA that Removal of Condition has been approved

Not heard anything regarding my AP or EAD, and according to my timeline my estimated dates have just past. Should I worry about this as I've already got an interview scheduled for the 1st March, or should I get on the phone and chase it up?

Don't worry Alex, mine went past the VJ estimated dates too by a few days - frustrating for sure. But don't worry you'll sure get a surprise text/e-mail any day now. :thumbs:

Nov 9, 2012 Case Touched, NOA date

Nov 13, 2012 Got text/e-mail with case number & the check was cashed :)

Nov 16, 2012 Received NOA & biometrics apt. letter

Nov 28, 2012 Biometrics apt.

Jan 4, 2013 In line for interview!

Whooo hoooo! !! :D Congrats on getting those emails... They sure are the best thing to get right now.. I received my AP in the mail today too and was totally ecstatic, unfortunately won't get to use it since interview is so close by....

Well, good luck to everyone of us and more patience to those still waiting for some news.....

Ty for the patience...haha and grats on the AP!

Congrats Alex on getting the AP and EAD emails. :) It feels (probably not to you) like your case has gone pretty quickly.. and I keep hoping our case goes just as quickly. I keep checking my mailbox in hopes of an Interview Letter (even though I know the interview would be over a month off). Next week I'll hit my "target" EAD approval time, so hopefully that'll come through for us.

Thanks guys. I'm sure you'll hear something soon... it seems that the Vj timelines are for the most part pretty accurate. We had some bad snow up this way over the course of the last month, so I think that would have definitely affected progress. It does seem like my case has moved along pretty quickly. I hope this is a good sign and we don't have any delayed decision post interview, because the average processing times for my local USCIS office are looking to be much longer than the possible minimum length of my case (so far) if you get my drift haha.

I have gotten two Interview letter for initial interview, one notice date is 02/09/10 and another one notice date is 02/16/10.these two IL are same but except interview date, one is 03/17/10 and another one is 03/24/10.I sent AOS package on 12/30/10. is this normal? should i go for these two interview.

same name, same A#, both say I-485, everything same execpt notice date and interview date.
