Alright. Our interview is tomorrow and to make myself feel a little better I am going to list what we will be bringing with us and ask you guys to approve/disapprove.

1. Joint bank account - I only have the first page of a statement with both our names and a check book. I can print a whole statement, do you think I should? I really hate wasting paper, it is a bit of a issue of mine. :) lol

2. Credit card with both our names - I am bringing the two cards, since they don't do joint accounts anymore and only my name shows on the statement. He is a authorized user.

3. Our 2009 tax return - filed jointly

4. Pictures with his family and my family from when we visited Bulgaria in 2008. (the cat too lol)

5. Cards that I made for him for Valentine's day and his birthday - I like making my own cards, but I am not very creative.

6. Cards that he bought for me for Valentine's day.

7. Our driver's licences with the same address - however there is a little issue here. we moved recently and neither of us has got the new licence with the new address. I have a printed out one with a picture, but he doesn't because he did it online. So basically I have my old one (cut on the top) and he has his current one (not cut) with the same address, and I have a print out with the new address and he doesn't have anything. They take forever to mail them nowadays.

8. And we moved in the in-laws so no lease. We will ask father in-law to write us a letter, but it won't be notarized :(

9. I am beneficiary on his life insurance, but he forgot to get the proof, so not sure whether I should mention it. He doesn't seem to be too worried about it either >.>

Well I think that is it. Honestly I don't feel worried at all and I am actually looking forward to it, because I like being asked questions lol. I think it will be fun. Let me know what you think. Quickly, Monday is coming! :)

1. Joint bank account - sounds good

2. Credit card with both our names - you may want to make a copy of the cards and block out the numbers on the cards (when you make the copy).. if you have a scanner/copier at home.. otherwise.. it's fine to show them and the IO will make note of the cards.

3. Our 2009 tax return - beautiful! We didn't have this.

4. Pictures with his family and my family from when we visited Bulgaria in 2008. LOL. you cannot forget the cat!

5. Cards that I made for him for Valentine's day and his birthday

6. Cards that he bought for me for Valentine's day.

7. Our driver's licences with the same address - they just looked at mine, not kyle's to verify who i was.

8. And we moved in the in-laws so no lease.- fine. I couldn't get Kyle's name on the lease and told them so.

9. I am beneficiary on his life insurance, but he forgot to get the proof, so not sure whether I should mention it. If you even remember to mention it, that's great.. :)

Your list sounds great. The IO took all the copies we could give him. We brought all our cards and stuff too, but totally forgot to show them to him during the interview. Just remember to make copies of things because they may want them. My IO didn't even ask for the 2009 tax return. He just looked that he had the pay stubs and tax return for the I-864 (which we already submitted).

Good luck at the interview! I'm so excited for you and can't wait to hear how it went!!!

thanks so much I feel better now, and can't wait until tomorrow. I have copies of everything, and the credit cards too. And the 2009 tax return will be for bona fide proof rather than the sponsor stuff.

I remember when we watched the proposal and Marty was asking me if we have to go through this when we got married, and I said Nooo this is just a movie. Haha I really didn't think we were going to.

Well I am done with the AOS too! We got an approval today. Overall I enjoyed the interview. We got there at about 9am and the interview didn't start until about 9:50. There were a lot of people and they were running behind. Our interviewer was very friendly and she seemed to like us. She asked a few random questions about the weather and stuff at first, then asked us to see our ID's. We were kinda talking the whole time. She asked Marty about why he decided to join the army, and he kept going on and on (don't ever ask him about the army lol). The only other things she asked to see were evidence of bona fide, and we showed her what I had listed in the previous post. Asked about who was who on the pictures, and asked to keep a bank statement. She asked Marty when is my birthday and he got it wrong lol. He always thinks that it is the 17th, when it is the 19th. Then she asked about when his birthday is and i told her. I also asked her to change my last name to my married name. What else. She confirmed the answers to the questions from I-485, some of them, and asked me to initial. We also showed her pictures of our cat, because she noticed there was a petco transaction on the statement. Finally she said congratulations, and explain how to remove conditions. She game me a paper saying that I am now a permanent resident, with my alien number on it. Waiting for the green card now! :)

Good luck to everybody.
