My apologies if this topic has been discussed somewhere. My search didn't bring anything up.

Do you have any recommendation on how to put all documentation together? Hard bound binder with tabs? Stapling is frawned upon in general? Do you puncture the holes on the side of docs to keep everything nice and organized?

Did you put the photos in a plastic bag or glued them to blank paper?

Sorry for so many question. Just looking for best practice to make things easy for the individuals reviewing the application.

Any tips are appreciated

paper clips or acco fasteners with two hole punch on top

the USCIS will take apart however you put it together and re-assemble in there format.... make it neat and organized but don't need to spend lots of money putting it together as all will likely be trashed

YMMV

Make sure they all get in the envelope. Beyond that it is a waste of time, but you may find it entertaining, like scrapbooking or something. Micheals crafts sells all sorts of sticky things with cute phrases.

Whatever you do in preparation, when it gets to the service center, it will be disassembled and put into the USCIS folder. A little while after it arrives and before any official person looks at it, it will be made to look exactly like everyone else's and NOTHING like you sent in.

I do recommend putting photos in a plastic bag.

we just place our in order the order that we had outlined in our cover letter I-129F first, bio stuff second then evidence etc behind that...after we had checked everything was signed and dated we just put it in a document sized cardboard envelope with payment and photos. Sealed the envelope and off it goes happily to VT (well we hope happily)

And so the wait begins...Good luck

Do you have any recommendation on how to put all documentation together? Hard bound binder with tabs? No Stapling is frawned upon in general? Yes Do you puncture the holes on the side of docs to keep everything nice and organized? No

I used paper clips, small binder clips and large binder clips.

Did you put the photos in a plastic bag or glued them to blank paper? Photo, with name and place labels on the back, into plastic baggie which was stapled to a blank piece of paper.

Sorry for so many question. Just looking for best practice to make things easy for the individuals reviewing the application.

The whole mess into a Tyvek USPS Priority envelope mailed for prepaid price. Online tracking is included.

Any tips are appreciated
