Hi every one

Does someone know about driving license in Texas....???

My fiance asked last year and and 3 months ago and he got 2 differents answers???

They told him that I have to do examination again and an other time that I just have to give them my Canadian license?

I check in the Texas Drivers Handbook and I can`t find my answer...

If someone has been thru this recently may you tell me what did you do?

Thanks

Jo

That 90 day bit is for out of state drivers. Like people from Colorado or Nevada.

For us Canadians, we can drive for 1 year on our foreign driver's licenses in TX. It's best to go in there with your green card. That way they'll give you the full 6 year TX driver's license. If you go in there with your visa instead, you'll simply get one of those temporary TX licenses that expire in a year.

No written or driving exam when I did it. Just gave them my BC license and out the door I went.
