Hi,

I have been searching for phone number or address to report suspected marriage fraud.

I have a cousin (USC) that a foreign national (girl) has been tricking into marrying her for the purpose of coming to US. My cousin's family know quite well that the girl is tricking my cousin, they want to stop the girl's intention of using my cousin for the purpose of coming to US. I don't personally have any issue if the girl wants to come to US, but she should not use my cousin.

The girl printed wedding card without my cousin's knowledge and downloaded his online pictures to make picture album in preparation for embassy interview. My cousin is not aware of all that the girl been doing neither do my cousin's family. They met once about two years ago when my cousin traveled. The girl has been bragging around town and to her friends that she is only interested to go to US. She told her close friend who happens to be a friend to my brother's girl friend that she is going to dump my cousin after she get her green card in US. My cousin's family is against the marriage and my family too also is against the marriage since we learnt that the girl just want to use my cousin.

If she succesfully tricked my cousin to marry her, the visa processing center would be Vermont.

Can someone please tell me how to stop this gold digger from using my cousin?

Thank you

Tony

Not much the girl can do if your cousin doesn't file a petition. You trolling?

Ah yes, true. Didn't even think about that. The original poster's post sounds a little suspicious. Either that or he is misinformed on multiple fronts.

There is nothing you can do to the girl to stop her from running her mouth and making photos. Photos are only secondary evidence anyway.

The girl can do nothing without your cousin, the US citizen, filing a petition for a fiancee visa or marrying her and petitioning a spouse visa. Other than inform your cousin what she has been saying and allowing him to make up his mind. There is, at this point, no visa fraud as there is no visa application. The US cannot do anything about foreign people who have an intent of visa fraud. If you want to nip this in the bud, you need to talk to your cousin. I cannot make judgement based on third person hearsay, neither can (or will) anyone else.

My cousin is being tricked, he maybe aware what the girl is doing but the entire families are against the girl's trick. For the fact, that the girl has been telling her friends her intention.

So what did your cousin say when you spoke to him?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

As a US citizen, I demand my right to be tricked by beautiful foreign women...and the right to make up my own mind. I did not ask my families permission to marry my foreign wife, I announced it to them. They can like it or not (as it happens they love my wife very much, but that is beside the point). make your cousin aware of what you hear and the "source" and he can decide.

Only your cousin can stop this. Without a visa application, there can be no visa fraud.

Honestly, this is a little hard to believe. IS your cousin sleeping? Challenged? It appears he wants to be used and doesn't care. To stop the whole thing he simply needs to withdraw and cancel the process. Where is the girl from anyway?

first u can not stop someone from using someone to get to the usa ..........second if the person she is scamming does not listen to reason anything u say or do will be viewed as people just trying to make a problem...........the best thing u can do is talk to ur relative and if he does not listen then just be there for him when it falls apart.

just my opinion

I would say your family needs to state their feelings and ####### off. If he is old enough to be free to marry, then he is old enough to decide. If you are aware of some FACTS he should know, then tell him. Otherwise, he is a big boy. You know when a 55+ year old guy marries an 18 year old hot woman (girl) he found at the Mal in the Phillipines, I can have my own opinion of what each wants from that relationship...and what of it? it is none of my business is what! The fact she is making wedding announcements tells me she is a bit immature and starry eyed and maybe nothing else. (and has no clue hoe long it takes, I hope she is booking any reception halls yet) It can happen when you make a relationship with a young woman, nothing to be worried about in itself. Jokes and comments about getting a green card are common enough and I don't put much stock in them, one hears them enough around this site. As far as hearsay...it is hearsay.

I would caution the family about taking an untenable position on this issue. It never benefits anyone. Simply isn't possible. If you are concerned for your cousin, give him facts and then support his decision.
