Well, at least you have some answers. But, this is not how I was hoping things would end up for you. I'm so sorry that they gave you such misleading information. It makes me so angry that embassy staff are so uninformed and give out such misleading information!

I'm very much hoping that the visa will be in hand in time for the 18th.

Absolutely nothing. We have called and emailed everyone. Re-sent faxes and hardcopies.

But nobody can actually help. The just keep saying 'It is being processed, wait a while, wait a week, wait until next week, wait a while longer'.

We feel like screaming.

well what happened to you now happened to my parents , they went today for interview and the counsular request it more paper likecourt paper ( if applicant is criminal or something like this) and a bunch of other documentations which some of them i did submit it but they needed translate and notorized (which as per NVC they dont need them translate and notorized).

i feel like crying its 5 am and im writing this so dissapointed. The counsular didnt hold the passports they told my parents to make ready this papers and bring them until Thursaday. im not sure hat to say anymore. i was thinking for its been more than 10 days for you for one documentation i dont how long now it will take for them to process for my parents . its been like 6 moths running ther and there to get this papers andin the end they need more . im so upset . hope for best , for you Richard as well

I am sure that our case is quite unique Nela! Honestly I have never read of anyone having the problems we have experienced this year and we were very well prepared!

I just hope and pray your parents get their visa without any further delay.

They were issued yesterday and obviously were delayed by the courier.
