Hi,

I have my artinerary, my hotel receipt in Manizales and pictures together. I have reciepts from restuarants but they do not say the name of the city. My strongest evidence outside of the pictures is my hotel reciept. It is in spanish but it shows the name of the hotel and my name and the name of the city . Does this need to be translated ( the hotel reciept)?

I some kind of way lost my little parts of my boarding pass. I have one boarding pass from houston to miami and then miami to bogota. But I don't have the boarding passes to bogota to manizales. My fiance lives in that city. I do have the luggage labels that shows my luggage went to Manizales. Do you think they will accept this?

Does it seem like I have enough evidence?

Do you all think I need to send ewvidence of an ongoing relationship?

Any documents not in English do need to be translated...but it does not have to be an 'official' translation. You can have someone you know, who speaks Spanish do the translation and certify (with their signature) that the translation is true and accurate (to the best of their knowledge).

You can use what you have, along with the stamps in your passport(showing entry into your fiancee's country) to document physical meeting for the purposes of filing the I-129F.

I can't tell you whether or not you have enough evidence, however I can tell you that I was in a very similar situation -- I only had boarding passes for some legs of my trips to the US, not all of them. I submitted these and copies of passport stamps to/from the US and we just received our NOA2 last week and no RFE! :) In conclusion ... submit what you have and hopefully they treat your petition the same as ours!

Make copies of your passport. The country stamped a page when you entered. That is main evidence. The other documents are just secondary, but make copies of them as well.

ditto above!

We basically the same evidence and were missing a boarding pass also.

I'm sure you'll have no problems with this evidence :)

Congrats and best of luck!

Anything presented as evidence needs to be in English or translated as noted above. Any high school Spanish student ought to be able to translate a receipt.

we are not the ones that judge such things, but it sounds like you have plausible evidence. Enough that I would say..send it! If it isn't enough you will receive an dRFE you cannot answer, the petition will be denied and you have to start over...OR, you could make another trip and wait to file. Your choice. Unfortunately no one here can say for sure it is enough.

It doesn't matter what city you went to (I met my wife by accident in a country niether of us live in) just that you have evidence you were there when you say you were and evidence you met in person. Phots show you met in person, the other gives evidence you were there to meet.

VERMONT! I Reject Your Reality...and Substitute My Own!

You need to show as much proof as you can that you were in the same country (city) at the same time - the time you claim to be there. Do you have credit card bills showing you were in Manizales? ATM receipts?

I sent in a hotel receipt and it was in Portuguese, and although I speak the language, I asked a friend to translate it for us. We also sent in proof that I worked in Brazil, an itinerary, boarding passes, copies of my visas into the country, copies of passport stamps, pictures, one affadavit from a mutual friend, etc etc.
