no problem :)

besides i blame myself for being late with the papers. i cant find time off work whenever i want cos i work in advertising/production house and we cant just take a leave of absence esp with ongoing projects, which we have a lot of :( and i was dragged to the advertising congress too when i didnt have plans to go in the first place :(

I didn't change my name when I got married, and all my documents are still in my single name, passport included. If you hven't changed yours either, then there's no need to change your passport.

I didn't change my name when I got married, and all my documents are still in my single name, passport included. If you hven't changed yours either, then there's no need to change your passport.

Same with me Tree, in Egypt the woman maintains her family name when married, so when my hubby gets here we will have another wedding so that way I will have US documents to support my name change. My Egyptian cerfiticate just has my original last name on it. :blush:

So I didn't have to get new paperwork or passport yet!

FYI Still can log in darn it@!!!! :angry:

Did you get all your legal affairs changed into your married name? ie...ss#, driver's license, bank account, etc? It shouldn't make a difference for the petitioner, if it did, you would have gotten a RFE with the AOS or the original I-130 application!

Ugh..I have signed on the website twice now in the last 2 hours....when will the madness stop??? :bonk::bonk::bonk:

Ugh my hubby sent the Things for the DS-230 via DHL tonday and he payed $100 to get it here the fastest way and it will be here wensday. thats not very fast if you ask me.

Paying $100 shipping i would expect it to be here the same day! ugh

and we spoke with the sponser for the (AOS) and He said it will be here i a couple of day no latter then Wensday also.

So i was planning to send everything this monday i gusse i cant now ill prob next day them to NVC on thursday. ugh. WHAT A PAIN!

Is there any way i can track the package my hubby sent me?

Hey Muslimqueen, I'm back!! My son had a winter concert tonight at his school!! Had to go listen to my boy blow his TUBA :lol::lol: Got to thank his band teacher on that one~~ :blink: I was hoping for at least a little smaller horn!!!

Anyways the AVR updated today stating that they received the requested documents on 12/3/09 and to give them 6-8 weeks to process the papers...I HOPE that means this week?????? :blush::thumbs:
