But they always say that, wait a couple of days and call again. They also tell you wait 2-3 months for them to get your case and thats not true. They all say that. for everything they said 3-4 weeks

No, trust us. For Canada...5-6 months is about average now. You know, I could have filed and obtained Philippine citizenship, filed the I-130 and been there already.

RAVEN, ILL MORE THAN LIKELY BE SEEING YOU IN MONTREAL

Nope, it means they're reviewing your I-1864 to see if everything is correct etc. :] You're fine!

i was making the cover letter for DS-230 and had a question. Could be possible someone has already asked but please be patient. Following is the requirement i found on the DS-230 Cover Leter in the Visa Hourney Template

1 - Two (2) Passport Size Photographs of Beneficiary (NVC Case Number, beneficiary’s full name, and date of birth are written on back of both)

2 - DS-230 Part 1 completed and signed by beneficiary

3 - DS-230 Part 2 completed by beneficiary – unsigned, as of yet, per instructions

4 - Photocopy of the Biographic Data Page(s) of Beneficiary’s Passport

5 - Original/Certified Birth Certificate of beneficiary (with an attested translation provided) and a copy

6 - Original/Certified Marriage Certificate and a copy

7 - Original/Certified Passport Office Police Certificate for Beneficiary and a copy

8 - Original/Certified Police Clearance Certificate and a copy

I am confused beteen # 7 and 8. I thought there was only one Police Clearance Certificate. And second question is does it need to be certified?
