Thanks for providing the link! I didn't realize there's a photocopy requirement too.

"In addition to sending the original documents or certified copies of the documents to the NVC, the applicant and each accompanying family member must submit a photocopy of the original documents or certified copies of the documents."

Anyone know whether the photocopies get sent with the AOS & DS-230 package or just to have available during the interview?

You don't need to include the birth certificate of the Petitioner. That was included with the I-130 application. This solely is looking at the Beneficiary.

Also if the beneficiary was married before, to include THAT original divorce decree.

I had sent my husband my divorce papers from my first marriage because Cairo Embassy is known to ask for it.

That is so they can give you back the originals at the interview. They also suggest to get an additional certified copy of your papers so that way if the package doesn't arrive at the embassy before your interview you will have it with you also.

Hi Muslimqueen!

good Morning from the Philippines!

I would suggest to wait after 2 days if its gonna show PAID or not. I would not do anything at the moment to avoid paying $400 twice.

Thanks

• 2 pcs photocopies of the Biographic Data of beneficiary’s new passport

• Certified Birth Certificate of the beneficiary

• 2 pcs photocopies of Certified Birth Certificate of the beneficiary

• 2 pcs photocopies of NBI Clearance

is this good? am i forgetting something?

i appreciate any help. thanks! :)

I never knew that Petitioner's BC is required as well until I read the link, Ms. A just to clarify, will it be fine not to send Petitioner's original birth certificate? I understand that DS230 or IV package is all from the beneficiary right?

Thanks
