NVC December 2009 Edition

Ever since I turned in my RFE I LIVE on the stupid website.... The AVR stated that they received my RFE checklist letter on 12/02/09..but I can still log in..

What is the NBI???

NBI stand for National Bureau of Investigation and_Sam. I sent my PCC but I did not include my NBI so NVC sent me an RFE. How long it will enter to the system they got it 12/03/09?

Ahh ok now I understand. So basically you need 2 PCC?? or 1 PCC and 1 NBI? Wow that is too much for me. Thank goodness my husband just needed one police report. He hasn't lived anywhere but his home town his whole life

I couldn't imagine having to get multiple police reports from all the places I lived growing up.

I know me too. i only needed to get one too cuz my hubby also lived in one place for is whole also. Thank God for that!

I've lived in 3 different provinces but I only need one PCC for the whole country, thank god.

On another note, the weekend is almost over.

Same here, the UK issues one certificate for the whole country, regardless of how many times you've moved. And yes...weekend almost over ;-) How long do you think it'll be before you hear about your expedite request?

Hi And_Sam, NVC did not honored my 1 PCC I think they want both 1 PCC and 1 NBI. It's very frustrating to had RFE coz it takes much longer the process. I've been waiting for this over. I hope it will be sooner. I keep you Muslimqueen,Abbie, Bern and all the people here on VJ in my prayers so we all be with our loveones. and live happiy ever after sounds like a fairytale? God BLess Guyz

Well apparently, it takes them about a week or so to respond to expedite requests. We mentioned Japan in the letter but he doesn't have the official paper yet. If they ABSOLUTELY need it then we'll ask his CO to write a letter confirming his deployment. The goal is to have this all over and done with by late March to early April. So wish us luck! Haha

Yes I can still log in....don't know how many more times I'm going to check tomorrow, but I am laying off of it for the night!

Nope still the same I'm waiting for the package my hubby sent me from jordon to arrive here it should be here on wensday and the sponser for the (AOS) should arrive here wendsday also. Let's see if they do I'll send them overnight to NVC
