Abbie has your AVR changed? Mine still refers to the checklist they sent on the 26th November, even though they got the DS-230 on 2nd December Come on, I want to join the bloody queue!!

Have you heard any news? This is driving me crazy!!! I cannot stand the waiting and waiting and waiting!!! I keep logging into the website just hoping and praying I'm going to get a failed login!!!

And_ Sam, Yeah it is hardly to keep waiting and waiting and waiting to be log in failed. I always do that almost everyday but since I got an RFE I stopped to logging into the website. Although I sent back the RFE to the NVC it delivered 12/03/09. So I'm hoping that sooner I have the case complete? GUyzzz is it necessary to photo copy the NBI aside from the original one? Thankz GOD BLESS and Hope our journey in NVC will not take long.

Ever since I turned in my RFE I LIVE on the stupid website.... The AVR stated that they received my RFE checklist letter on 12/02/09..but I can still log in..

I always have the idea that the people who work in the NVC are immigrants themselves...l

The only Desmond that I know is from Jamaica so maybe that is why I think that...I love his accent!!

Hmmm that sounds reasonable!! I know that we applied for the K3 also and it was sent to the embassy the same time that the CR1 was sent to the NVC and we haven't heard a thing about that one...So it's either in AP-land or maybe lost in the mail to the embassy? Either way, we decided to go the CR1 path and it seems to be quicker in the long run!!!

It's a better visa in the long run, you will not have to go through AOS and dish out another $1010 and with the CR/IR-1 the beneficiary becomes a permanent resident upon entry and can work right away.

Yeah that is what I thought too!! It seems like the CR1 way is faster too!! So much as wanting him over quicker...I thought about doing the K3 way, but the uscis, or embassy, which ever case it may be, made up my mind for me~~

I want to send the DS 230 form to my husband but I am kinda scared that NVC will send us DS 230 form..

Nope i think you print it cuz when i called them the lady asked me did i have the DS-230 ready yet i i told her well you guys did not send me the fourm i just printed it. And she said "yah that how we do it now"

So the printed one is fine but remeber to put the case number on EVERY PAGE

He has not completed the I-864 as he is always working the whole day and he will be tired during the night... I hate it! hehe

NBI stand for National Bureau of Investigation and_Sam. I sent my PCC but I did not include my NBI so NVC sent me an RFE. How long it will enter to the system they got it 12/03/09?

I hope for the same thing. I will most likely send the DS-230 and (AOS) packet on thursday my hubbys DS-230 package should be here on Wendsay and so sould the (AOS) From the sponser. We will see.

What is the NBI???

NBI means National Bureau of Investigation, it's a Philippine Goverment Office that gives National CLearance, so aside of having police clearance from different cities and provinces we stayed in the Phils., NBI clearance is good to have as it will give you a kinda like NATIONAL clearance.

Hope it makes sense.
