This is an old thread, but I just want to bump it to say that Avatar pops into my second favorite movie of the year behind Star Trek.

I'll be seeing District 9, The Hangover, Inglourious Basterds, (500) Days Of Summer, Sherlock Holmes and possibly others over the holiday break though, so this was probably a very premature thread on my part. :P

Yeasayer's odd blood doesn't come out until 2010 but it leaked already so I am going to add it to my list.

Also, got tickets for their Philly show in May! Very excited.

Yeah, my impression of their music was that it had good moments, but it...well...ambled just too much!

I was going to say "meandered", but then I saw I could go for an obvious siss-boom-baa there and took it. ;)
