Emancipation-Thanks for the congrats. Glad you liked the "play by play coloUr wardrobe commentary"...lol...Thought I would help others here with describing as to what I wore, since there was some thread on vj about others wondering what to wear on occasions like this with immigration officials. The USCIS' definition of "proper attire" for the oath ceremony is kind of vague anyways...Regardless, glad that they were ok with what me and my family wore that day, patriotic Canadian/American lapel pin and all!

By the way, I still it the Canadian way as, "coloUr", despite being American....lol....Guess I can never get that Canadian spelling and grammar rules out of my head! (and I admit, I prefer Canadian/British English instead of American English...lol.....Glad I didn't have to swear against that....lol......

Lol...that's ok about Krikit's comments...Takes awhile to read, and likewise, takes awhile to write....Oh well...good for them in trying anyways....and they got the gist of it anyhow.....

 Oh Krikit..

I love how you gave us the play by play color commentary on what you wore Ant..

Congrads.

Bogartnoir-Thanks for the congrats. Glad you enjoyed reading about my journey. Lol...Despite being a fellow American, I'm still a fellow Canadian too...

congratulations, my fellow american! :D

wonderful to read your journey! :star:

EbrechNPersona-Thanks for the congrats.

Congrats~!!! Woo hoo!

Again, to everyone, thanks for the congratulations, and thanks for being such helpful, friendly, and supportive people along the way....Without vj, I wouldn't be where I am now...

And to everyone: Good luck with the rest of your immigration journeys, and may your journey end happily too....

Ant
