Awesome Thanks Everyone...

Now both the I129F and I130 was approved. Got email last night.

So I'll put in what happened so anyone else following will have an idea what to do...

So i called Customer Service, they told me to wait two weeks to put in a service request.

I called back a few days later and requested again, they said to wait again, so I asked to speak to a supervisor.

The supervisor said that she can't inquire yet because it's not 30 days past the 5 month mark. So I asked for the next level up...

The next level up is a USCIS Officer who looked into it for me, and we got disconnected so I called again, and spoke with another officer, who said that my case has been approved and I should be receiving an NOA2 hardcopy soon.

Then first my I129F was approved, then i got another email for the i-130!.

Life is good!!!!! A few more steps now...

Osen, all I can say is be persistent, and don't give in to customer service and ask for an officer.

Now, I need to figure out the next step, I heard on this forum that the guides needed to be updated. How long before I can bug NVC?

Thanks Everyone!

Hey, Osen74, How are things going on your end? Approval yet?

hi kaus&sanu,

so we were able to call USCIS last monday and we're told the same thing as you were--to wait 30days more past the 5 months processing.. then we insisted to ask for an officer and the only good thing he told us was that we should be getting our approval by Dec 26 (oh well i do hope he was right about that!).. and then he also advised us to call again if nothing happens by January 2, 2010.. so we wait again..

anyway, holidays are fast approaching and i guess people from the USCIS will all be busy so not bad if we'll let the holidays pass for now and then bug them again by January 2010.. i'll share the news to you when we get our approval!

by the way, congratulations on getting your NVC case number.. NVC is way faster than USCIS.. Good luck and God bless on the rest of your journey!

Here's a tip: Get ALL your documents BEFORE your case reaches the NVC stage. That way you'll be able to fly through instead of waiting for things like tax returns, employment letter, PCCs, etc.
