So, on Saturday we were officially declared "husband and wife."

Now I will have to roam a different forum in order to take care of the new process (AOS). The sooner, the better, because I do not want my MOB to wait too long to reveal her scam as soon as she gets her GC

A new journey begins this week ... the most difficult part so far has been getting used to wearing a ring ... it annoys me!

Congratulations to both of you. I hope you have many years of happiness together. The next step is better than the first step but can be frustrating. Do follow the guidelines and do all you can to provide for substantiation of joint ownership and joint obligations. If you can, try to get a social security number for your spouse as soon as possible. It will make everything else so much easier.

Again, congratulations!

So you're publicly admitting on an open forum that your now wife entered the US fully intending to get married and AOS?

If so, quite frankly, you might as well have flicked the bird to all of us who have chosen to go about immigrating the legal way, despite the difficult and drawn out waiting and accompanying celebrations. Why not go all out and just moon us all while you're at it?

Easy tiger. I think the post was more "Tongue in cheek". How about you say congrats? The guy just got married.

*grin* Coz I'm grumpy today and frustrated at how long bureaucracy takes and know that although we're blessed at being able to travel over the holidays to spend time with my SO, we're going to have to cope with ANOTHER tearful, heartwrenching goodbye.

You never can tell on VJ whether people are being tongue in cheek or not. For that reason, a little tact goes a long way but hey, why not? It's nearly Christmas - congrats.

I am publicly admitting that I may be the victim of a scam and I do not know about it. If I am, the sooner it is revealed, the better. I am impatient and do not like to wait too long for such big news.

But if I am not being scammed, I am a very lucky man, because I am having the time of my life

So, on Saturday we were officially declared "husband and wife."

Congrats. I guess!

That's why I don't wear one. I guess my wife's annoys her too so she doesn't wear one either.

You might as well have just said congrats and been +1 on your post count.

Actually, I read on and you're grumpy today. No worries. Feel free to come back here and be grumpy anytime. We have a lot of good "debates" about grumpy people, pies, and guns.

Yup, cept now I'm +3 on my post count for this thread alone! lol...

And yah, I'm rarely grumpy but I get grumpy and impatient when the weather turns cold, my car door lock freezes up in the morning and my SOBSTBX (that's sonovab*tch soon to be ex lol) goes all ...whatever he goes, can't be fvcked to psychoanalyze him... on me and reminds me why I left him in the first place, which just reminds me why the distance and the immigration time sucks azz.

The good news is I have 9 days left before we set out on our Christmas expedition to far sunnier pastures in AZ.

And FWIW, if the fella doesn't wanna wear a wedding band on his finger, I hear those electronic tags are reasonably comfortable. lol..

If it was a clip-on, sure! (And of course, you're not referring to the ones that shock when you push the button, are you?)
