I have finally met the love of my life, we have spoken every single day on the internet, via phone, and via web cam.

I want to go to visit him soon. I just want to know how hard everyone will think it will be to get him to the USA to be a resident permanently. We are trying to figure this out together and this is my first step.

I understand my first step is to meet him correct? And show proof of meeting one another right?

I am new to this and I know there are people everyday from all around the world who want to be with one another who have to do this or cannot be at all.

I think there is a light at the end of every tunnel.......about how long do u think this process would take all in all?

Or does it depend?

Please everyone help us with all that u can help us with.

Thank you so much

Welcome to VJ! :)

The process takes from 6 to 9 months from filing date, may be shorter may be longer. Lately USCIS has been working fast on applications and most couples get their NOA2's fast

Here's a link to the Guides: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;page=k1guide

And also a link to the US Embassy in Casablanca's info: http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?letter=M

Good luck!

Definitely read the guides first and prepare yourself to be able to complete each step before starting the process. Read different reviews on the consulate and other's experiences. Make sure that your relationship is strong enough to stand the test of the visa process. And visit as much as you can before applying.

It's a LOT of work. I will answer: Probably the most difficult interaction that you have ever had with your government.

Yes, yes.

Fastest: 6 months AFTER they receive your paperwork, possibly much longer. But it depends on a lot of things including the country of origin of the fiancee. I think Morocco is one that tends to take longer and have more problems come up than average, but I'm not sure about that. You should look around for stories about Morocco specifically.

Good luck!
