1:24 p.m.

About six officers in SWAT gear pulled up to Nicole Smith's Tacoma home and four went inside. They were escorted in by a young man who pulled up in a silver Honda.

Smith is Clemmons' wife. Police are seeking her and are looking for her car.

Now they are in Ravenna looking for the dude. From the UW, to the International district to Beacon hill to Ravenna? #######, makes no sense at all.

Glad I don't work in Ravenna anymore!

I think this case merits the death penalty. I am generally tenative about saying a person deserves the death penalty for his crimes, but I don't hesitate here. If he is guilty of raping a child and murdering 4 people, then that is the only just punishment.

Hmm... he probably won't make it alive into a squad car.

have they seen this guy in any of these places or are the just checking locations of people he knows?

In my humble opinion, they are chasing their own tails... the locations are all over the place.

Brother Rob; not even this case makes me a dearth penalty advocate.

Good possibility. Cops don't take too kindly to cop killers.

Indeed.

Just like some barkeeps don't take too kindly to robots either.

The more horrible the crime is, the more the civilized should seek to stick to the rule of law. If the death penalty is applicable under the law, fine, but cops taking the law into their own hands? Understandable of course, but no, it should not happen.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

I am by no means an advocate for the death penalty. However, there are some crimes that are simply too heinous to overlook it. In my opinion, this one meets that criteria.

In today's 24 hour news cycle, I doubt that they would really do anything to him prior to his trial. However, while in custody and subsequently in prison, the guards would conveniently notify the inmates of his crimes. Him being a cop killer, they probably wouldn't do much to stop it. Child rapists don't last long in prison. Being a cop killer won't get you any sympathy or even protective custody.

maybe we'll be lucky and he'll run into a chapter of the hell's angels and they'll solve the problem.

I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy.

That is no way to allow a judicial system to be run. Due process is not something that should be bent to suit those who are meant to be upholding the law, no matter how 'justified' it might seem to cops.
