Question on form I-485 Part 1, etc

Hi all,

on Part 1 of Form I-485, there is a section "Expires on (mm/dd/yyyy)"

is this the date when the I-94 expires or when the K-1 visa expires?

pls see attached file, i have encircled that section

oh and do you have to pay the $70 biometrics fee twice (for AOS and EAD) or just once? thanks again!!!

It's when the I-94 expires.

The $70 biometrics fee is for the AOS only. There is no fee for the EAD biometrics.

The $70 biometrics fee is for the AOS only. There is no fee for the EAD biometrics.

Thanks!!! I did find the answers to my questions after a bit of searching through the posts, but thanks for the reply :thumbs:

i have one more question tho and i havent come across anything on it...do we need to submit a birth certificate for the US citizen too or just the non-US citizen spouse? thanks!!!

you will need birth certificates for both of you
