Well I have 2 middle names so put them both in the middle name part.

Doesn't fit on some forms so I write it out by hand or (I know it sounds silly) do a supplement sheet.

So try to fit both names on the last name section.

She actually does not have a middle name it is two last names. I was thinking to use the last name in the middle for the middle name. Will that cause any problems ? Or do I need to leave the middle name blank?

If she is known as Miss Sanders Cruz, then both Sanders and Cruz need to go in the last name box. Otherwise, she'll be listed as Cruz, Mary Sanders or Cruz, Mary S.

How is it laid out in her passport? If she doesn't have a middle name, then leave it blank. Not everyone has a second "christian" name..

If "Sanders Cruz" are her surnames then list them both as such on the G-325A. My husband has no middle name and has 2 last names (as do most Latin Americans) so that is exactly how we listed it.

Later, when he was given the K1 visa, the U.S. consulate chose his first name as his middle name (which we use here in the U.S.), but that was their decision.

If we move back to Brazil he'll be using both names his surnames again.

I brought extra copies of G325A with me and had her to sign a few blank ones. She signed her name how it supposed to be in the signature part but we were confused by the bottom box. She printed it out as like she had a middle name. Do you think there will be a problem with that? I am filling it out like your post shows on the blank copy with her signature but in the box that says print it written in already as she has a middle name.

Wow, that was pretty culturally insensitive of the consulate to do that. You would think that they would provide diversity training for their employees so they would know different countries' naming conventions. I would have been pretty pissed off if I'd been your husband.

You can stop stressing about this now. Her name is Mary Sanders Cruz. If that is what it says on the form, it is finished. Doesn't matter.

Cruz, Mary Sanders...Cruz, Sanders Mary ...Cruz Sanders, Mary...whatever. They do not deny petitions because of where you put a comma in the black box.

This is my opinion to that, every country has different way of having their middle name. My middle name before i get married is the last name of my mom. and now when I got married my middle name that I'm using is my last name, not my married name..

Here is my example:

Before married:

Maddy Astri Rossi

name middle name Last name

(last name of my mom)

now im married this is how my name written:

Maddy Rossi Cruise

name middle name last name

Hope this help a little bit!
