how long is it for NOA2?

hello

i filed the I29F visa on nov 4th. how long does it take to receive the NOA2? it estimates on VJ that it should be here on DEC 20 is this correct. does it only take a month to get the NOA2?

Your timeline shows VJ estimating an adjudication date range of 12/24 to 01/20 - this date range may very likely change as folks add/edit their relatively new timelines.

I'm guessing there are some with incorrect start/approval dates in their timelines which may be throwing off the calculations. Current trend for VSC NOA1 to NOA2 is still in the 120 day range. Time will tell - I could be wrong but it's not likely there would be such a sudden improvement in processing times.

It is an educated guess. In late September VSC turned a very large portion of their staff to processing K-1s which they had fallen behind on. People filing last year at this time were waiting 6 months and more. Suddenly a flood of approvals cam along and the timelines dropped. This is not a permanent situation and most of the staff will go back to doing what they were at some time, which may or may not have already happened. The VJ estimate is as good as it gets, but it is not precise, guaranteed, or anything of the sort.

VERMONT! I Reject Your Reality...and Substitute My Own!

I got mine in 25 days, but as Gary said, VSC had put extra effort into getting caught up... and some of us just got lucky.
